About Chalet Hotel
It was my cooking that kept me safe while begging on the streets, as a child back in Jamaica. It was my cooking that fed my family while my mother struggled just to survive. And it was my cooking that pulled me from poverty after I relocated to Canada.
These days it is just my pleasure to feed the people of Winnipeg. I love to feed people. Come by my restaurant and have some Authentic Jamaican street food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In-room smoking, dogs, whatever. The food at the hotel's strip club is surprisingly good. However the raffles for private dances are rigged. :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed feelings. Room was cheap, cabaret club next door was entertaining... but the front desk was always empty, nothing for towel or room service, and when I asked if there was a cheaper rate if I paid by the week the lady said yes, but I saw no discount applied to the bill.
