★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chain lake campsite is awesome! The new hosts are very nice and helpful especially when we had problems with our tent trailer. Miss the recycling bins and the firewood is a little expensive however. Been going there for years and will continue and recommend it to others.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a last minute decision to head up Princeton way and to our luck came across chain lake. Our first time there and loved every minute of it. There was very little people there and there's no cell service what so ever unless you take a ride back into town witch is about 40min away. I highly recommend one going there to get away from everything. It's not only relaxing but a beautiful area. Lots of wildlife around and the lake is stocked every year. Only a ten horse gas boat motor is aloud or an electric motor witch is what most fishermen had. There are out house's but that's as much as you get. So if you don't want to drink lake water witch I wouldn't recommend, you better make sure you bring big enough water jugs lol. It's so dark at night but yet one can still see the surroundings, and the stars are so bright and plentiful it's a sight to admire, especially for star gazing.
It's only 2 1/2 hours away from where I live and definitely plan on returning sometime soon.

Hosts, Carl & Shauna are as courtiess and friendly as they are professional. I, and all of my fellow Campers/Anglers and Guests to my site, had a wonderful stay. Thank you for the exceptional services that we received on our June/July trip to Chain Lake. ?????♀️???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We really enjoyed fall camping at chain lake. Wasn't too busy and the colours were amazing. Lots to explore nearby too. KVR is accessible but you likely want an ATV or vehicle to get there. Walking or cycling would have a big incline to ascend.
