The one agent Ms.Asselin, I was late a payment in April because I had transferred all my bank information to another bank which took time. And recently in May I was in the hospital and had just returned back to work. When I said that I had to pay for medication before making the payment, she said she didn't care about my medication and she was yelling over the phone. Very disgusting and uncalled for behaviour considering that I had initially started the conversation like a human being. I have made every single payment on time AND always sent an email with confirmation except the last two due to moving banks and being hospitalized. When asked if she would like my medical records as proof, no reply. But when she sends an email, she expects answers right away. After the way I've been spoken to and hung up on by Ms. Asselin, I'm going to take my time and pay this off.
m	margaret hill on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was awarded a judgement against a contracting company. The para-legal I hired, uses this Company to collect the debt. It's been 2 yrs. now and there has been no success. Central Credit only phones the contractor and if he doesn't answer the phone or reply to their voice mail message, they do nothing else. I am out $2,000 from that company and $1,000 from the para-legal I hired.
J	Julius on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most despicable business I've ever had the unfortunate circumstances of dealing with. I recently acquired an outstanding account due to payments at Georgian college but within that same time frame I was diagnosed with cancer (I'm 23 years old) and therefore unable to mentally and financially deal with the situation. Upon explaining my circumstance to them they said and I quote "it will be in our legal by then" and proceeded to hangup on me. I understand we all have a job to do but a little human compassion wouldn't kill you guys.

Charged my credit card for damages that I did not do, Would not return any of my calls. Next thing I knew I am dealing with Central Credit. They were harassing me for payment. Then they sent me phony court documents saying they were taking me to Small Claims Court.
S	Slippery Mollusk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BBB should dig deep on these ones. They should NOT be able to put anything against your credit score. This company magically came up with I owed money on an old account. The original account holder realized they made a mistake and wiped it off their records. This company on the other hand insists it was never paid. I've been calling and leaving messages for close to a year now and I've spoke to them twice. Both times they let me know they would pull anything off my credit. Still there! Scummy business practice. Super nice to not be able to get them off my scores.. even more fun when trying to get a mortgage.
T	Terry Vogelaar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ by no means rude on the phone, i asked about how the system works once my bill has been paid for an ambulance that picked my husband up for an allergy attack. it didnt need to be a big deal but the people who operate the phones. literally every. single. employee was incredibly aggressive and mean. im sorry i get confused. im sorry i need to communicate in a more basic way. some people arent the same as you and it is not intentional to cause you frustration but you made it impossible to communicate with any of the you over a basic tiny bill and reduced me to complete tears for no reason. Thank guys! :) you talked over me, i was speaking very calmly and even then you have to transfer me without listening to anything i say. i just had a basic question and was treated in a completely nasty way.

No one has been able to help me but now I am going to try to help myself. hopefully The ministry of consumer affairs - consumer protection will be able to shut this company down. I know first hand what it is like to be railroaded by the company specifically Ms. asselin. It is shocking beyond belief. As per the collection act of Ontario there are very specific rules and regulations in place for a company such as this and to my surprise it seems based on all the complaints I have read thus far. They are neglecting a lot of steps making their claims unlawful.

But was given a nonchalant attitude in regards to being able to so. Being told “I don’t know when anyone is in the office, they work in rotation” is oxymoronic at best. If they work in rotation I’m sure it wouldn’t take that much effort to find out when. Furthermore as a debt collection agency who consistently calls people.. would you not want to settle accounts asap? Disgusting attitude and would give less than 1 star if I could. Hate having to deal with them but it’s a must as this is effecting my credit.
