Central Bark Dog Park - Spruce Home
We will be continuing to operate by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
To schedule an appointment for cremation services, license renewal or to make a donation, please contact us at the shelter at 306-763-6110.
To view an adoptable animal we require you to submit an application FIRST. Once we receive your application we will contact you based on approval, and will schedule an appointment with you. Please understand that we may receive a large quantity of applications for a specific animal, in this case we will ONLY be contacting the best suited applicant to schedule an appointment to meet the animal and continue the adoption process. If this applicant decides not to adopt, we will again go through the applications and contact the best suited home for the specific animal.
Understand that with a limited staff we do not have the ability to contact every applicant. If you want an update of the status of your application, contact us and we will update you.
Our mission and goal is to find suitable and successful homes that match the needs of the animals in our care. Each animal has specific needs and requirements and we choose adopters based on who best meets those requirements for that specific animal.
We appreciate your support and understanding!

β β β β β It's a good safe place to take your dog, but could use some upgrades. Grass, trees, and no smoking would go a long way to making it a better place for all.

β β β β β Just a nice place to bring dogs. I have 2 small dogs and there is an area for them if there.are too many large dogs. They're always happy to go!

β β β β β Is this park Fenced off? Iβm looking for off leash fenced off dog parks. We came from Vancouver they had so many there my Siberian Husky really enjoyed. She has too much energy can run off so I only take her to fenced parks. Any help much appreciated. We are from Melfort if thereβs anything around here, much better since we would literally travel to PA just to go to the park. Love my dog so much even though she has a huge fenced backyard she loves to play with other dogs. :)

β β β β β Love this dog park. Its well kept and has two areas, one for bigger dogs and one for smaller dogs. Its a great place to socialize your dogs and yourself. Dog owners and dog lovers have so much to talk about. Thanks for the great space. My only complaint is how far out of town it is..you need a car to go. I wish I could walk my dogs here.

β β β β β Can't complain considering it's the only one in who knows how far. There are a couple hydrants and a smaller pen for smaller dogs but that's about it. Never the less my dog always enjoys meeting new friends there and when the owners take control of their aggressive dogs it's a decent place to let your dog off the leash for some much needed exercise.

β β β β β Great park for big, and small dogs. Water is available. Benches to sit at, as your dog gets to socialize.
