Was advised to replace parts. Some of which he said urgent. Went to my dealer for a second opinion and saw nothing wrong. Who is telling the truth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ça fait deux fois que j'y vais pour des incidents mineurs. La dernière fois j'étais même convaincu que la réparation nécessaire me couterait plusieurs 100aines $. Dans les 2 cas ça m'a couté des peanuts parce qu'en fait c'était beaucoup plus mineure que ce que je croyais.
Alors je vous le dis, un garagiste qui ne cherche pas à vous charger ce qui n'est pas dû c'est un garagiste de confiance et c'est très précieux.
Je n'irai plus ailleurs dorénavant.
Certains commentaires ici font des comparaisons avec le diagnostic obtenu de leur concessionnaire qui selon eux seraient plus honnêtes et compétents. Jeez, mon expérience de 33 ans comme propriétaire de voitures neuves à différents concessionaires m'ont prouvé tout le contraire. Et que dire de leurs tarifs abusifs.
Le Centre de l'auto Loretteville est une excellente alternative.
I've been here twice for minor incidents. The last time I was even convinced that the necessary repair would cost me several hundred dollars. In both cases it cost me peanuts because in fact it was much more minor than I thought.
So I'm telling you, a mechanic who doesn't try to charge you what isn't due is a trusted mechanic and that's very valuable.
I won't go anywhere else from now on.
Some comments here make comparisons with the diagnosis obtained from their dealership which they believe would be more honest and competent. Jeez, my 33 years of experience owning new cars at various dealerships has proven the opposite to me. And what about their excessive prices.
The Loretteville Auto Center is an excellent alternative.
