Don’t bother with this place, the doctor is arragent and doesn’t listen. My grandfather had a rare disease and my grandmother brought him in, he made a very rude comment about my grandfather and never gave a diagnosis. It’s too late for action now since my grandfather has passed, I would just advise others in the future to avoid this office! It might save you a lot of brokeness and stress.

Dr Lennyhas been my parents' doctor for years. He literally saved my Mom's life by detecting a small lump early and both he and Kelly have been fabulous over the years. I couldn't say enough about them!

Hi, I am a city of Ottawa Firefighter suffering with severe PTSD. Firefighting was my vocation, not a job. In 2005 I had an acute incident involving a young boy that died in my arms on the way to C.H.E.O he passed away just as we arrived. The little boy was the same age as my eldest son at the time, 4 and a half years old. I wasn't allowed to cry growing up as a boy, or I got the "I'll give you something to cry about deal" anyone familiar with that? I worked in an environment that didn't tolerate emotions either. I worked in one of the toughest stations in the city. It was coined the "Viper Pitt" and a well deserved designation. You had to have broad shoulders and thick skin to survive that firehouse. Anyways, I buried that call deep inside. I couldn't share it with anyone because none of my crew were with me, as is typical at most calls with the exception of the medics needing one of our members assistance. One medic to drive, one to take primary care of the casualty and one firefighter with First Responder level training. The calls became accumulative over the years and by 2008 I was having nightmares from the death of the young boy, the jumpers that committed suicide to the extremely disadvantaged not getting the same treatment as those of affluence. It is sad, but it is true and I've witnessed it first hand. Now, to the review. I approached my family doctor in 2008, I was married with 2 boys. My first coping mechanism was to become a workaholic to mitigate the intrusive thoughts in my waking hours and I simply had to suffer through the nightmares. I was the last to bed and the first one up. The work load began to weigh me down, I was sleep deprived, working 3 jobs, going to night school part time and raising 2 toddlers to boot. I went to my doctor at this clinic and told him something was wrong, but I didn't know what it was. He prescribed me an antidepressant. I waited a while as I was instructed that the meds take a while to get into the system. Things didn't get better, so I went back to this MD and he increased the dosage. I waited again for the very same reasons. Things were still not improving my ex-spouse and I are battling so I went back to see my doc. I explained what was going on and I received a reply from him that "I need to suck it up". So, I did. On September 05th 2012 I had had enough. I was tired from consistent nightmares, a Traumatic Brain Injury I sustained from heat stroke from overworking. This doctor had opportunity to intervene before my diligent suicide attempt. He didn't cause the PTSD but he is certainly culpable for the post damage. The receptionist was generally pleasant with me, but I missed one too many appointments because that clinic has some messed up hours of operation. I called to apologize and the receptionist was clearly fed up with me and she let me know it. At the time I missed the appointment I was going through heavy prescription meds withdrawal, a dangerous withdrawal. She was well aware of the severity of my injuries, so the last thing a person that is suffering needs is to be treated as a nuisance. She scoffed at me and said "there's always something with you". I have since left this dangerous place and pulled my son out to boot. My estranged ex-spouse pulled our other son out of this clinic. This wasn't the only time he told me to "suck it up". On the second occasion I let him have it because I expressed to him that he caused a tremendous amount of damage the first time he said it. Talk about some heavy backtracking by this guy suddenly. My occupational therapist and I found out later through Health Connect while searching for a new MD that my original family doctor dropped me from his care a month after my determined suicide attempt. That stinks of impropriety and conjecture. This is only the Coles Notes version. Thanks for listening, I had to be my our advocate under extreme duress. That is the reality of both physical and mental health issues. Best regards to the sick that have been mistreated. What is left of my heart goes out to you. Thanks Brandon

Dr. Jennifer Laskey is an amazing Doctor Who listens to your issues and try to help you as much as possible. She is so kind and caring and would do anything for her patients including calling them from home. However I am regretful to say to her receptionist Nothing but rude and does not pass information to Jennifer Lasky. I have had issues where the receptionists refused to let me have an appointment even when the issue was extremely important due to mental health. Also information has gone missing such as my children’s immunization ! if I did not go back to the doctor they would’ve ended up getting the shots twice because receptionists did not put the information into the computer however I have to say even though the receptionists is lacking bedside manner and compassion I will still go to Dr. Lasky because she’s a good doctor I recommend her to anyone. I do however think it’s time to find a new receptionist

5 star. She's kind, caring, professional and probably way over worked because of everything she does. She's been my Doctor since she took over for Dr. Ferguson. We need more Doctors like this in Canada!

I have seen several negative comments on here, but there are several doctors within in this medical centre. I do wish you could rate the individual doctors. I have been with Dr. Laskey for about 15 years now and she is just amazing. I feel like I am going to see my vary compassionate friend who happens to be a doctor as well. I am very thankful to have her as a doctor. I now live an hour away, but I would drive longer than that to have her as my doctor and advocate. Every specialist she has sent me to has also been equally amazing, it's like she's connected with all the other good ones out there :)
