We phoned her twice to confirm our site ,when we got there at 7:28 at night the husband claimed there were no sites available except for a 40 dollar a night site which we had already said no to as it had no services.Now we are unsure whether the site attendants wanted to fill that more expensive site or if there really was any sites other than that available, nun the less we were left without a place to stay. Would never recommend this place ever.
A	Anthony Knezevic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoyed our stay at the New Denver centennial campground. Very easy going, right on Slocan lake, boat launch and lots of fun for the kids with the playground and fields onsite. Great place to position your exploration of the area.

G	Glenn Atchison on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great staff, easy registration. Campsite is well maintained and clean. Though I didn't get to the beach it looked good. Bathrooms are clean. Park is close by. Really nice place to be. Quiet.
P	Paul and Theresa Cottrell on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed in the north side of the campground for four nights. The campground was very clean and quite. The bathrooms were also very well kept and clean as well as the shower house. The camp host was very helpful and courteous. The shower house requires loonies, 1 for each 4 minutes of use, so come with coins in hand. There are many sights to see in the area, we were able to visit the Wilson creek falls(is not any any map so ask the locals how to get there), ghost town Slocan, actually some really cool buildings with a history of the area presented. We will definitely be back!
M	Mikhail Abbott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great camp ground. We were lucky enough to snag a spot on the lake. Nice rocky beach, lots of activities baseball diamond, sand volleyball, Nikkei memorial, garden, swimming area with floating dock in the middle of the roped off area. Nice boat launch. If i had any complaints it would be that lot number 34 was a tad small for a truck/camper and a truck/tent and quiet time was at 10 pm. But other than that great spot. Not a tonne of privacy but still great campground. Saw a big black bear a few blocks from the turnoff for the camp ground. Next time will do some hikes. The lookout tower on top of idaho peak looks like a good one. Lots of hot springs in the area too And great view of stars on a clear night
D	DJ Sumara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nestled between the quaint village of New Denver and The beautiful Slocan Lake, this is a lovely and welcoming campground. I only downgraded to four stars because the best camping sites near the lake are not serviced. Bonus is that it is adjacent to the beautiful Kohan gardens. Very very busy in July and August. Much more tranquil in May and September.

So strict, that even when it comes to illness such as Covid, they won’t allow you to cancel with refund if you are not canceling before that two time period. Once upon a time, New Denver use to be a flexible and reasonable place, and now the community council whom I even sent an email request to reconsider refund, would rather keep my money than be understanding and supportive of incontrovertible circumstances. I will no longer camp this campground just for this reason, nor Will myself or my family be spending our time or money in this community We once loved and as well as resided in. Shame on you New Denver.
