Was going to give it 4 stars because of the lack of privacy and hookup issues at the campsite section but staff were more than welcoming and accommodating so they more than made up for it! Would definitely come again. Few notes to consider if camping, bring a good length water hose and power cable (50ft is more than enough). Some sites are on the wrong side so longer houses and cables are required(but has been there since the 60s so what can you do). Dogs arent allowed on the sand beach or in the water. We will leave our dog at home next time, it's not fair having so much fun in the water and your dog can only watch from a distance. Shower facilities were clean and new. Everybody was friendly. They had a floating trampoline on the lake too, kids loved it. Thanks guys!

Our RV parked in a campsite with a protruding rock that scratched the grey water bank piping on the bottom. After communication, Ellie, the co-owner of this campground, acknowledged the fault from their side of not removing this rock or giving a highlighted mark. She speaked nice words and paid for all the repair costs. I do appreicate her professional treatment and good attitude towards this accident. Will return next time!

The cabins are older and have its share of cobwebs, but the owners have done renovations and added decor to make it look homey. It’s cute and quaint, but don’t expect exceptional cleanliness. The lakeside amenities are really nice- canoes, SUPs, and rowboats. This resort has been a favourite of ours, but the campsites are no longer tent-camping friendly as that has been turned into an RV jungle. The cabins are okay. The pool and hot tub are also gone, so hopefully something else will be put up to replace them. Great location.

The website advertises a camping experience, quiet and in nature; however, when I arrived, I realized that 26 of the 28 RV sites had been rented out to people who seemed to have been living there during the slow season. The space was very cramped, with less than 3 feet on either side of us between or spot and the RVs next to us. One side of our site was only a couple of feet away from our neighbor’s pile of garbage. I am very glad that these folks were able to find a spot to stay long term, however this absolutely should be advertised on the website so that visitors can decide whether or not that is the experience they want. We left within a few minutes of arriving, and e-mailed the owners as they were not there when we arrived. I have yet to receive a response. Note that the cabins look lovely, and much more private, though definitely not surrounded by woods and space. It is definitely a cramped campground, though great for those who don’t mind seeing a lot of people on the beach and want to be close to town.

We love coming here! It's been an annual tradition for our family for over a decade. I would give them 5 stars but unfortunately this year our reservation for the cabins (which we made over a year ago) fell through, and we had to shorten our stay by a day and then play musical cabins, then supplement with 2 nights at a hotel, in order to make it all work.

Cute and relaxing stay. Love that our cabin was fully stocked and had even some movies/books/games to get into for the rainy days we were there. The sandy beach is great and loved how there were canoes and paddles boards to use. I just wish they would update the mattresses as they were pretty uncomfortable; can't speak for every cabin, but ours were not great. Otherwise a great place for a family stay!

Older place . Really needs upgrading. Walls between next unit VERY thin. Could hear everything . Including snoring. Definately needs yard work & doesn't have a very nice beach for kids. We were only there 1 night & almost the last place to stay on the Island. Price was right. & It was clean. The heat was next to the pullout sofa. Not good...

Lovely spot nestled amongst the trees by St Mary’s lake on beautiful Salt Spring Island. The RV sites are generous with plenty of room for your rig and parking the truck etc. There are rental cabins as well. Down at the lake is a club house with big deck, a boat dock, canoes and row boats, life jackets etc. There are bathrooms, a guest laundry and an outdoor kitchen washing up area. Point off for the state of the road in, massive potholes and pretty muddy. However it is early spring so no doubt they will fix before summer.
