Cedar and Sand Photography

We have done our Christmas pictures with Heaton Photography two years in a row now and Sheena always does the most amazing job!! She always manages to get the best shots. My daughter was 10 months and 21 months when we did these photoshoots (not an easy age to get them to take pictures), but Sheena managed to get some faboulous shots of her. Thank you so much again, Sheena. Professional, pleasant and so good at what they do. I highly recommend Heaton Photography for any special occasion.

Heaton photography truly captured my kid's personalities. They were so easy to work with, the kids left saying' "that was so much fun, Mommy," and the scenery she picked for us was gorgeous. We got our photos back very quickly and they were beautifully edited.

10 out of 10 amazing! I discovered Heaton randomly online, and LOVED their style. I have done 4 shoots with them already! Maternity, newborn, 1st Christmas, and outdoor winter. I hope they never stop doing this because I plan to have them capture my whole life. Next is wedding!! I'm so happy I found them!! Amazing prices, customer service, and super fun to shoot with. Oh, and great with babies too!!

I had maternity photoshoot with Sheena. No doubt she gave me more no. of images than package includes and it was on time too. But sorry to say that all pictures quality was so bad. I and my husband has brown skin but still it is not that dark. I asked her to fix it because package includes edited images. She did little bit here and there but not 100%. She skipped some pictures and in some pictures she only did my husband's face and not hands. Now that looks more horrible. I also asked to fix my pictures too and she said it will be extra charge $10 per image which is not nice. She gave me excuse that my husband's skin is already dark and she can't fix my makeup. I sent her our normal picture (without any editing but has taken from nice camera) just to compare but she didn't agree. I gave up my hope that she will fix now and asked one of my graphic designer friend. I am also web developer so I knew it this is editing issue not skin tone. My friend told me same and helped me with one picture. I follow same settings and correct all pictures by myself. After all I paid $300 + tax. How can I waste it and most important this is my first baby and I wanted to make it more memorable. I can't get ruined it because of someone's horrible work. In short I won't recommend her. My husband doesn't want to post his picture publicly but I am fine so I attached before & after pictures here to save someone's money. Also I attached a picture(First picture) which I took from my mobile same day after photoshoot.

The first thing I knew when I got engaged was that I wanted Sheena and Andrew to photograph our wedding. I was worried as they now live about a 12 hour drive away and much to my delight they said they would do it! They said engagement photos were included to which I again thought that would be nice but we live so far apart. They reached out and said they were coming to town and wanted to our engagement photos...we got them back before the scheduled time and I absolutely LOVE them and can't wait for our wedding, to see more!

This review is way overdue.. but the Heatons at cedar and sand are simply amazing. Not only are their photos and videos amazing they are the kindest people. Sheena, Andrew and their assistant went above and beyond on our wedding day. The investment is completely worth it ! Cannot wait to work with them again in hopefully the near future !

I came across Cedar and Sand Photography online when we first got engaged and I’m so happy I did. Sheena and Andrew are amazing! They are such kind and caring people and they make you feel like you’ve known them forever. We booked them to do our wedding and in their package, engagement photos were included. I’m so glad Sheena convinced me to do the engagement photos, as it was a great intro to having professional photos done before our big day and it helped get us (somewhat) comfortable in front of the camera. Fast forward to our wedding day and we had such a blast with them. They made our wedding photos fun and helped ease my nerves throughout the day. I can’t wait to get the rest of the photos and to watch our wedding highlight video! I absolutely love their work and can’t wait to have more photos done by them in the future. Sheena and Andrew are amazing. They made the day run like clockwork and they went above and beyond so many times to make sure our wedding day pictures were perfect. It rained heavily on our wedding day, and they made us feel at ease and was so quick to change gears and go with the flow. Their approach is laid back and friendly so we were never intimidated or nervous taking pictures. The pictures are incredible, just perfect!!! We couldn’t have had a better experience and would recommend them 100%. Book them ASAP, you won’t regret it!!!!!
