We found JLS Photography online and booked because of the fast, easy and detailed communication we had. The photo shoot was inspired; JLS has a wide range of props, outfits and backdrops to choose from, but that wasn't the most impressive part. The JLS photographer immediately bonded with our son making this an incredibly low stress activity. She knew how to keep him calm, pose him comfortably and make him smile. We never felt rushed if we needed a break or needed to feed - we simply relaxed and chatted until it was time to work again. We would highly recommended JLS Photography and look forward to using them again in the future. P.S. a particular thanks to Jen.

I discovered her webpage with a simple internet search and could not have been more happy with the decision we made to go with her. She embodied everything and more I could ever ask of a professional photographer. From her excellent communication and beautiful studio (with an overwhelming amount of props to choose from), to her endless patience and immaculate eye for capturing the beauty of a child, my wife and I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. She is a consummate professional with a lighthearted personality that makes you feel like you’re sitting with a friend you’ve had for years all while she performs magic with her camera. She gave us so many options of what styles we wanted, but still guided us to what she knew would look incredible. We were so impressed following our photo session, and then when we actually received the images, we were elated. There is no shortage of photographers and studios out there to choose from, but I cannot imagine getting better quality or service that what Jen provides. Our experience was worth every penny and more!

She works very well with children and makes us feel very welcoming. Jen does more than what is expected of her and she's a gem to work with. She rearranged her schedule to accommodate a time that worked for us where we would still have good weather for an outdoor shoot. She is a very nice lady with a sense of humor, the interaction with kids is awesome. When I received the portraits of the boys, it exceeded my expectation. I feel it’s worthy for my driving from Vancouver to Survey for sure! I’ll definitely go back to JLS Photography when the boys grow up for more portraits!

She was amazing with our little guy, very patient, and knew how to get him into the perfect positions for the photos! She was also very quick to respond, and very quick to get our finished photos back to us. If you need a family photographer, I’d highly recommend checking her out!

Our son was quite fussy that day but she was able to easily soothe him and provide a very comforting environment for him while my spouse and I sat back and relaxed. I definitely recommend her for newborn shoots and will be returning for more family pictures in the future.
