★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Significantly disappointed in their colour matched paint can’s performance. Staff was polite and this isn’t necessarily their fault but one can sprayed clumps all over my tailgate, the other sprayed only in the upside down position, both inconsistent spray patterns. This caused more headache over the next 2 weeks than words can describe. Went to a professional who needed the tech sheet, essentially information on the chemical composition, drying time and other technical data about the can contents which is available with just about any automotive paint you buy upon request. When I called for this information the associate on the phone was entirely unhelpful. Had to sand all the paint off my truck and I have learned this $60 lesson the expensive way. $600 body shop job later, truck look like a million bucks. Should have had it done properly to begin with. And yes, I mixed the cans for several minutes. Yes, the tip was clean- can was brand new. 0/10

because I purchased the rotors in 2019 they wouldn't replace or refund any money. As my husband's health took a turn fir the worst, he couldn't fix the car. I called a garage git a great price for labor but Cawthra Auto gave me faulty equipment. Never ever will I recommend this place to anyone. The owner is very very rude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We've had nothing but a great experience many times now, buying parts or paint from Cawthra Automotive. We have a classic car and they always exceed our expectations in availability and price. I'm sure it helps that we always know exactly what we want. But they get us our parts fast and them mixing up a couple cans of spray paint is the icing on the cake. It's all business with these guys, it's true. They're job is to sell parts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called in to inquire about their custom paint cans because their website states “Call or stop by to order”. Upon calling them the man who picked up had no idea why I called instead of coming in and insisted on me coming in. When I said that his own website states I should call, he started giving me attitude saying “for 44 years I’ve been doing this and that’s not true” when it literally says to call in on cawthraautomotive.com.
After he said this he angrily said I still have to come in and hung up on me.
Go anywhere else for paint if you want friendly service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly experienced staff but their customer service skills could be better. Good color-matching with their custom paints. No acknowledgement whatsoever from the gentleman that worked the paint counter when I arrived (tip: "I'll be right with you sir" goes a long way). I was in a rush and didn't want to bother the staff again or wait for my turn to ask for help so, I decided to visit CarQuest instead (although they charge $32/can) since they were able to take my order by phone and have it ready by the time I arrived.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was impeccable. I went in on Saturday and the guy in the paint mixing area is super knowledgeable. He came out and looked at my vehicle and gave me good advice and direction with my repair. 6 ? highly recommended
