★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Older hotel that needs a big facelift. Rug on the stairs is wore out. The hallway towards the rooms certainly looked nice.
The room...
Bed was worn out, very thin mattress, edge was very sharp.
Extension cords used for lamps and other appliances. See picture.
Opened door to room and the light switch didn't turn on anything. 3 small lamps in the room. No ceiling lights.
Rug on the floor needs replacing. Rug had at least a 3" slack in it. Definitely a trip hazard. At the least it needs restretching.
No usb ports for charging.
Very low shower head and very poor quality. Maybe a $3 when u buy bulk.
Furniture worn out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fleabag motel. I'm giving two stars cause it was quiet and the bed was clean. I have no idea how it's listed as a three star hotel. Go somewhere else, anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for work even asked if I was on days or nights, I told them nights so that put me right beside people who are up all day. Also the house keeping staff were rudely loud could hear their walkie-talkie going off clear as a bell when they are down the hall and they rudely and loudly answered no respect for guys working nights .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were unexpected guests of the Causeway Bay during a winter storm. From the first minute they made us feel welcome and cared for. Sheila, Donna and Em treated us like downs and family. While the town and restaurant were closed for Christmas, we did not go hungry.
The hotel and restaurant are lovely, and our room was beautiful and well cared for. I highly recommend staying here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel is heritage building and was the Black Nugget Motor inn!! and had a facelift which was needed a few years back , the staff are friendly and the Kitchen and food are awesome Chef James and Don made us amazing food . The rooms are quiet and clean but nothing fancy and not overly priced. It's located centrally and is walking distance too all amenities would stay again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great older hotel. Rooms have been updated and are kept clean. Staff are very responsive if there is an issue. Love the deep tubs and water pressure for the showers is heaven for someone from the city.
Restaurant is amazing. Never been disappointed. Try the lemon meringue pie. I've spent my life saying "this is good, but it's not mom's" and today I said it's the best slice I've ever had.
