Much of Jim’s working career was spent as a technical specialist in the banking / cash processing industry. Starting in 2007 he also led the design and construction of the new Cathedral facility as volunteer chairs of both the Cathedral Building Committee and the Worship & Liturgical Design Committee.
He has been part of Holy Family’s staff since 2011, joining the team as Facilities Manager and overseeing the completion of construction in 2012. Jim’s role at the Cathedral is to oversee the daily physical operations of the facility, and through our custodial and maintenance personnel ensuring that it is ready to meet the needs of its many users and the hundreds of activities occurring here each month.
He works closely with groups and individuals to plan and coordinate the many functions being held in our space, including parish activities, family celebrations, school events, community functions, weddings, conferences and more.
Jim and his wife Pat have two daughters studying at the University of Saskatchewan. When he gets away from work, Jim enjoys a quiet evening with his family, although they have a long list of projects waiting for him to complete at home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for a wedding. It was a ceremony and reception that took place here. Church was nice and cool for temperature on a hot day. Very nice in there. Looks very slick. Went in the hall for the reception and there was tons of room. Good for a bigger wedding. Had a great time there and if you are invited to a wedding there, you won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place with lots of parking spaces. We had a function here and I had a great time. The washrooms are well kept and easily accessible as well. The only downside is there's nowhere you can get a quick bite nearby and you might need to drive some distance if you or your kids are hungry. Anyways, its still great place.

"Church officials hired one of Canada's top lawyers, who, in a private court hearing, successfully argued that the country's Catholic churches had tried their best and had no more to give." About says it all, doesn't it?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is where my daughter delivered her Valedictorian Speech for SY 2019-2020. The structure was huge, clean and spacious. There was a sanitizer upon entering the building. We went inside the church for the recording of her speech located in the ground floor. I took a shot of my daughter (see picture) beside the church's door as remembrance.
