★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and clean place. We had tried to stop at I believe Johnston cabins and cafe, but they charged you parking to eat at their cafe. They also have a lot of different trails to hike on, so i understand the charge. But Castle Mountain gas station did not they had a nice selection/variety of food. They have clean washrooms, and picnic tables to use. And gorgeous views.

The young lady working there, was friendly and accommodating.
They also have cabins here, with a wonderful view of Castle Mountain.
I put in a request for them to sell coffee mugs.
She agreed.
I would definitely make this special place, a stop, or a destination.
Johnson Canyon is nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been going here for years as a regular to Panarama, I stop here to get gas, water, snacks and and use the washroom. This time they have closed the washroom to everyone, even if you are a paying customer. Really, What a bad decision if you want to keep your customers. No need to ever stop here again. Drive to Canmore or Banff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t count on this place to get gas after a long drive from radium. We almost got stuck on our way to Banff. Literally rolled on air for 45km. Realized our car is breatharian. She didn’t give up on us. But this place did! No number to call, no reception, no self service!
