We drove from Alberta, a long gravel road, unfortunately the trail is unsafe and looks like a tree fell destroying the path. Unless you're in the local area, I wouldn't make a road trip out of it. Very unsafe at this moment.

Beautiful! Even in the winter it's gorgeous, just a short hike in with some minor steep/slippery sections which may give an inexperienced person some trouble in the winter.

We found this in one of the guides at the Mabel Lake campground. A hidden gem!. A bit hard to locate, there are no signs for any of the places up there, but go by km 17 and look for the corner with a pullout and a track leading into the forest (passenger side as you go "up" the road. Bring good boots and your camera!

Such a lovely hike. The falls are astounding but getting there is a little hard. The roads get rough at times and it is a little hard to remember where the trail head starts but once you get there it's such a nice spot to go

A hidden gem of the North Okanagan and Lumby BC. Just a short 5 minute walk from Mabel Lake fsr to the falls. Only a few Km's past Mabel Lake Provincial Park. Be sure to also check out the Mystic Forest , where there is a nice private beach that you will usually have all to yourself. Just look for the big Tree full of Shoes!

Super cool waterfall. Not a lot of parking and there is no sign at the trailhead. There is a small pullout as you go around the hair pin turn. The main path is medium difficulty with a little climb over some rocks, narrow path, and a couple slippery muddy spots. There is a also trail that heads up towards the top of the falls. It is an advanced trail that is not maintained and I wouldn't do it without ropes in case someone slips. We went part way up, heard a cat (we expect it wasn't a house cat) and quickly made our way back down to the main trail. The secluded falls (~80 feet tall) are totally worth the 5-10 minute walk down the main trail. Hidden gem for sure.
