This is a cute little spot to work/study with a decent menu regorged of different sandwiches, cakes and coffees they even have a couple vegetarian options i’m pretty certain. It was almost perfect but the time it took to get my sandwich out was quite some minuteS.

A unique establishment located through the main gate in the city of Essaouira, Caravane Café is not an average restaurant. Combining an art gallery, antiques, and entertainment with gourmet food, Caravane Café is not to be missed. The atmosphere is friendly, fun, and the restaurant décor is quirky yet visually stunning. It’s colorful, and with an eclectic mix of furnishings, Caravane Café is comfortable and upbeat. At the recommendation of my riad, I stopped in for dinner by myself one night. The place was beautiful, and no matter where you were there was something to look at. It’s great to take it all in as you wait for your food. Even better is that Caravane Café offers free entertainment for guests, and the fire dancers were amazing! I’ve never seen anything like it before, and the whole restaurant was delighted. The staff were so attentive and the service was wonderful. They welcomed me, and my food was promptly delivered to my table. I couldn’t have asked for better service from the entire crew. The menu features dishes from across the world, including French, Mediterranean, Caribbean and Asian. I started with a selection of smoked fish, and the chef chose the perfect cuts – smoky, fresh, and flavorful. Excellently seasoned. For my main, I opted for shelled king prawns with saffron sauce. The grilled prawns were large and melted in my mouth, and the beautifully colored saffron sauce was the ideal accompaniment. I ended my meal with a cake duo, highlighting a rich chocolate lava cake and a caramel cake with ice cream. Both cakes were freshly baked and just a tad sweet. What a finish! Dining at Caravane Café is an experience, as you immerse yourself in the food, culture, art and atmosphere. One of the best in Essaouira, I highly recommend a visit!

Café étudiant, way over priced for what it is. I ordered a hot chocolate that should have been called a "room temperature chocolate" for $5. Not many tables to sit at. But great for studying for those who like a busy environment to study.

Chill atmosphere for a hang out with a delicious selection of sandwiches but also feels cozy and warm if you want to grab a coffee and pastry and study.

I love the decorations & vibe. Prices are just like anywhere else. Usually very crowded so lots of noise coming from everywhere. Not sure I can fully focus.

My Friday morning café ☕️ in Montreal, like literally. A beautiful patio on the magical Jean-Brilliant street and an exquisite inside decor, especially the second floor, which is quite hip, of course if you’re into that kind of ambiance.

Nice area to study/work in or to grab coffee with a friend. There are about 6-7 tables in total which when I was here was more than enough to have some personal space. The wifi was also decent while I was here - at times it was choppy but most of the time it was good.

Walked in for the first time. We were in the area and wanted a nice coffee in the rainy day. Saw the place had good reviews and thought of trying it. They have a great selection of food. My eyes were caught on the various grill cheeses but we just had lunch. We moved to the drinks menu which was full of goodies other than different types of coffees, such as milk shakes and smoothies. Talked to the barista (making our coffee in the photo) to see what they do good. She asked us a few questions and she advised a latte. It was spot on wonderful. They even make their own sugar and have their own special blend of coffee beans. I totally recommend and would make the 30minutes drive for it.
