I developed most my emotional trauma here. I feel sorry for every child that went there. 100% do not recommend.

I went to this school around 2017 and after around grade 3 I started feeling how the teachers didn't care about how you felt or what you did. They always said something about being nice and not to bully people but when people got bullied they di nothing. I left before the new principle but my friends told me how they got rid of the memorial for the kids who died/ or committed suicide because it "ruined the mood". Overall if you want your kid to have mental health issues and cry every time they come home send them to CJP but if you want your children to have good 6 years of school and learn send them to a different school.

Though my three or so years at this school was, if I remember, decent. Not the best and not the worst, but leaning towards worse. I can imagine you're a parent reading this review and dismissing it as a former student who just had a strong opposition to schools in general, but I promise I'm not. I'm being as honest and open minded as possible while writing this review. From what I remember, the montessori system was okay but set me back a little after I transferred to a new school without it. My teachers were okay, though my teacher in grade 3 was probably one of the best I've been taught by. I have fond memories of this school and I can still recall being very upset over transferring, but it was only because of my classmates and teacher I thought I would miss. I would recommend you and your child to find another school if possible, but otherwise it would be okay I suppose. I have absolute no idea why or how I got the energy to write this, but I hope it helps.

I wish there was a 0 button bc I was crying and no one helped me.. and i was only in grade 4.. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE I was bullied for being my self and for being a boy with long hair.. I only had 1 friend.. ALL THE BOYS SWEAR AND NO ONE CARED. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. EVER.

I wouldn't recommend this school. The principle does not know how to take care of a situation properly and so do some of the other staff members there. Most of the teachers there are nice but I always feel like I'm not being challenged enough. The principle doesn't care much about the kids/students there and always sided with the other staff. I only remember 2 really good supervisors and the rest were really strict. The staff their treat kids poorly and make the bully seem like the good guy. It is rumored that there are 3 different types of people, the ones that have been to CJP and the ones that haven't.

I would never ever recommend this school. I went there, and the new principal was horrifying and cruel. She did not care about any of the student's mental and physical well-being. CJP wasn't really safe caring welcoming and respectful. I feel like our whole school has changed when we got a new principal. I feel like most of the teachers didn't care about us. I feel like the new principle(this is an opinion) is very egoistic. I felt that there was more rules broken and more defacing of school property, more fights, more anxiety. I would definitely not recommend this school.

Y'know being a past student at this school I highly don't recommended this school. 1. The principal (the new one) does not take care of problems the right way. 2. The school's supervisors does not care about the student's mental health (although some do) 3. They do not have good challenging material for those who want to go deeper into the subject they're learning. 4. When I was at school there were too much restrictions on what the students could do (this was before COVID-19) 5. It's not a good school to have fun :( PS: you should definitely trust the students that wrote some of these reviews as I actually did get a little traumatized in this school. The principal and the staff wants you to think a different way and do not take care of bullying the right way. If you want your kid to go to a good school where they want to have fun, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS SCHOOL!

This school is an okay school since I've been here for 6 years, many teachers are nice and the old principle was so nice and now the new principle is crazy. she doesn't let kids on there phones nor she lets them have fun. but the worst of all, is the new teachers. one is named mrs.seto and she is SUPER RUDE. she is the worst teacher anyone could imagine having. she doesn't let you YAWN!!!!!!!!!!! And shell accuse you of playing around and talking when she's talking. she tells everykid to be kind and to follow Covid rules, when she doesn't she puts her mask under her nose and takes her mask off when kids are at least 2 feet away. When she asks everyone to follow kind rules, she doesn't all she does is yell, talk over kids voices, and accuses kids! She should be FIRED!!!!!!!!!!! The only good teachers are the teacher who are: Mrs. Wright. Mrs.Nair, Mrs.Pretty, Mr.G, Mrs.Young, Mrs.chung, Mrs.Jagger, and Mrs.warkington and more I forgot ?. Also one teacher you should not have is Mrs.tupin she hits kids and is only nice to other kids that are not in her class when her kids are around. once she forced a boy to close the door of me and my friends when we where in the middle of walking though the door. She also hit my shoulder into the wall and said "you need to move out of my way". Then I was offended. PLZ FIRE MRS. TUPIN AND MRS.SETO!!!!!!! either way you can go to this school but idk if i recommend it.(only because of the super RUDE teachers.
