It was important for us to have a second language as well as a school that strives for excellence in education. The teachers and administrators are caring and always available to discuss any concerns.

Even though busing is complicated the school is most definitely worth the drive. Both my children have excelled in their time at Dalhousie and their Spanish is improving nicely. They very much enjoy going to school each day and feel like they are part of special community. I would highly recommend Dalhousie School.

Our children have loved all of their teachers and staff, and as parents we love the programming opportunities, quality of teaching, and resources like the music program and Learning Commons/Library. We feel so fortunate to have this Spanish Bilingual school as our community school.

The teachers at this school are mean, vile creatures, from the music teacher who went out of his way to bully and humiliate me and get me in trouble with my parents, to the kindergarten teacher who told my mother that I was "horrible." This place made turned me from a happy, cheerful child, to a miserable husk who just wanted to escape. Twelve Mile Coulee is one of my least favorite places on Earth, but switching schools was still the best decision of my entire life. I hated every second of my time here, and I hope you and your children aren't subjected to the same horrors.
L	Lily Anderson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing school. The teachers are kind, skilled, and extremely caring towards their students. I love them. Not to mention the staff! They never failed to make me smile. The Spanish/English environment is one I'll always miss, too. It's not common to see schools like these, especially in Canada! If you're having doubts about enrolling your child here, take it from a former student: You won't regret it. At all. Not only will they have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Spanish language/ culture, but they'll be in the prescence of some of the best teachers I've seen to date. I miss you, Dalhousie!
L	Laura Mazzino Villeneuve on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best school in Calgary. Our son is in grade 3 now. He LOVES his school and he is HAPPY to attend each morning. He comes back with a huge smile each day. The school community is amazing. The principal, vice principal, teachers and support staff are VERY caring, fun, and work tirelessly to provide the ideal learning environment to all children attending. They have an amazing school team. I love volunteering at the school because everyone makes me feel welcomed. I love how parents are open and welcoming. Amazing Spanish bilingual program (I was a teacher in my Latin home country for a number of years, so I can relate) and their fiestas to celebrate the Hispanic and Latino culture are super fun. This community is like an extended family for us <3
