B	Brian McNamee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Should have done this sooner. Grabbed lunch (Halibut & chips) a couple weeks ago on my way somewhere. Service was friendly, food was good, no complaints. Portion sizes of fish (2pcs) was fair. Will definitely go back again.

A	Andrea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing fish and chips place! I ordered fish tacos and chips. The tacos and “secret sauce” on them were very tasty! The waiter was nice and friendly. The dish was a good size for the price, very filling. I am not from the area, but I will make a point of stopping in Brokeville again and visit Captain George’s!
K	Kay Jay on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for lunch on a Sunday here. Being new to the city, this was one of the very few fish and chips places that had hassle free parking and dine in option. The location is tucked away from all the parking issues in Brockville. Hence the decision to go there. But I am glad I went there with my dad. The staff was very friendly, and we had a wonderful time at George's. I had a plate of fish ( halibut) and chips, as seen in the picture. And we shared an appetiser which included clams and shrimps. It was supposed to be scallops as well, but they had a shortage at the time. Although I wished they compensated for the lack of scallops by tossing in some shrimps, I have only good things to say about the food they gave. The batter was so light and crispy on the shrimp. It was delicious! The fish was light and flaky within the crispy batter as well. Fries could be crispier and less time in the fryer would do justice to them. I would go there again for sure.
