We received our quote the day after we contacted them, and we had the trees removed within the week. They left our yard nice and clean! We are having more trees removed by them in the spring. We were very impressed with their work and the cost of the tree removal. I would highly recommend them to everyone needing tree removal.

The team at Capital City where very empathetic of our situation, and scheduled the removal as soon as the winds died down. They did a fantastic job, were very detail oriented and had everything cleared away in an efficient manner!

First, they did what they promised, when they said they would start, it took as long as they estimated, and they cleaned up after themselves extremely thoroughly. So they met the expectations that they had set. And then they exceeded those expectations. They suggested that my neighbor might want us to throw a half-dozen large spruce branches into the chipper, as it takes a minute for them, but saves the neighbor an extra trip. My neighbors were as surprised as I was, and probably more delighted, and it only took about a minute. They were generally one of the most friendly and professional crews I've come across, but this gesture is one reason I feel compelled to write a glowing review. Although this didn't impact the quality of the work done on the tree, it was reassuring to see they had strong safety routines, e.g. making sure that everyone stayed clear of areas that could see dropping branches (or parts of the trunk). These routines were so well drilled that they did not seem to lose any time at all. The crew seemed to always be moving, and there was zero down time in the two hours they spent taking down an enormous spruce and a medium-to-large birch. Finally, when they cleaned up, they took care of neighbors and public property just as well as my own. I was watching most of the time, since the trees were close to the house and I was curious, and I did not see a single thing I would want to change. I would be happy to contract with Capital City Tree Service again.

I am so grateful for the services of Mat and other team members to help me finish a job in my yard that I had been putting off doing because I didn't have the right tools or skill. I met them at a recent tradeshow and asked them for a quote on the black knot fungus on a couple of my trees in my yard. I was impressed with how quickly they contacted me, set up a quote, stuck to all their timelines they proposed and how they gave me a couple options of what to do with the trees. They are reasonably priced and worked very quickly when they did remove the black knot from one tree and cut down another tree. They also were very good at cleaning up their work area right away, even blowing off my driveway of any debris. I will most definitely be using them again as well as recommending them to everyone I know.

But above all, they were careful…our house, our neighbour’s house, our fences and our other trees were never in jeopardy. It was great watching them “perform” as the tree was dismantled and removed. They gave us a detailed quote last fall and recommended we wait until early spring to have the work done. They contacted us on the first day of spring to arrange a date and arrived on time to complete the job. Their knowledge and expertise on correctly pruning our trees was greatly appreciated.
