★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Competent, not mind blowing. Tasty sauce, could have used more. We grabbed some chicken dinners for take out. The bottom of the dish was awesome, the top was okay. Just the right spices... So if they had added more I would have been super happy with it. Pleasant service.

$$$ price was more than justified by the food portions and the food was very tastey. We took the rest home. It is still tastey the fay after. Of course you can have anything on the menu as take out.
I have been picking up the chicken for years. Since it is always freshly made ou must order about 1/2 hr before. More on holidays.
The atmosphere is very laid back. It can get a tad noisy though when they are full.
In summer you can enjoy your meal out on the terrace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Chicken is great, but above all Cantinho has probably the best spicy sauce out there. The place looks like a trap house straight from a Migos’ rap video. Thus, these Portuguese birds would make Gucci Mane proud if only they were served hot (warm).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Once every year , I come to this restaurant . It has bomb food especially when it comes to their chicken and seafood specialities . While service is slow and might not be the best , it is a restaurant that I do enjoy eating and have a good time.
Warning : portions are huge but wine selection could be much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely delicious and authentic Portuguese food. Large portions, reasonable prices and excellent service. Will visit again during our next trip to Montreal. Recommend the Bitoque, Bacalhao and Lulus Grehaldas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good food. They unfortunately don’t have the Portuguese seafood bowl that I’ve seen previously in other restaurants. They do though have a ton of grilled foods instead. The bacalhua is good and so is the lamb. The clams were very good but a little on the small side. Service was ok not bad but not great. It was difficult to read the menu since it doesn’t have any English but no fault on them.
