Great atmosphere. Great service. Was very impressed with the wine suggestion by Luca. The food was exceptional and very fresh, which is something I look for when dinning out. They catered to every dietary need. I will definitely will be returning. I recommend you check them out.

We felt taken care of, everyone is friendly and nice but the seating at the bar sucked, it was so uncomfortable to eat a meal there. We got sprayed multiple times by the bartender and it was too close to the cold door. Food is okay, gnocchi and burrata were yummy. Drinks were good! All in all it's okay. The music is too loud, though.

Had a great experience on a Tuesday night. Food was amazing and service matched. I had an amazing app that one of the owners went off menu to create for me (scallops, shrimp n tuna all raw) and the branzino as a main was amazing… they comped me a desert which was great as well.. Saddled up to the bar for a coffee n aperitif .. definitely coming back!!.. have been back had the oysters, fried calamari, penne alla vodka.. all were great.. met more of the staff who were all great.. check this place out for late night too.. good vibe!!

I recommend CANO to anybody who loves quality Italian food and a great atmosphere. Our server Micheal was very prompt and friendly. We rarely had to wait for a drink to be in our hands. Perfect for a date night or a night out with friends. Everything to the start of our service at the bar, right to the end of the night at our table. our experience was great! Delicious pasta !!

Easily the best meal i’ve had in Toronto in a long time! Every single thing on the menu was delicious but especially the truffle gnudi, oh my god. Literally the most pillowy fresh pasta I’ve ever had! The mojito was perfectly strong and smooth. The service was so nice! We were on the back patio which was more a chill, party vibe, where inside it looked more dimly lit and romantic. If you’re having a birthday go outside, if it’s date night go in! Will 100% be returning!

Italian | LLBO | Patio | Green P Nearby Covid protocols in place Environment: Upon entering the restaurant it gave me a chill hip bar vibe. With a full bar and energetic servers. We were then guided past the kitchen, through to the back where there is a hidden heated and enclosed patio seating area. This area is heated diagonally across the room and gives less of a bar vibe but more like a cute romantic dining room. Personally I think the heater should have been installed around the walls of the room instead because I was sitting right under it and I felt like I was going to catch on fire any moment. And when I look at the corners of the guests where the heater was not over top of them, they all kept their jackets on. Service: The hostess seemed busy and did not give me much of a welcoming feel. We entered stating we have a reservation and as we were pulling out our IDs for vaccination proof, she checks the guests behind me and seats them first. Personally I didn't like that very much, at least apologize and let me know you'll get back to me. Our server Luke/ Luca was amazing! I believe he mentioned that he is partially an owner. He was fun, friendly and humorous. He greeted us with care and knows his menu very well. He often checked up on us and refilled my wine. His service definitely made my dinner date much more memorable than it already is. Food: *** Food review based on Valentine's Day Prix-Fix Menu *** INSALATA DI CAVOLO Very generous portion, best kale salad I've ever had. It was nicely cut and seasoned. It wasn't too acidic and the texture was great. I did wish there were more pancetta. CARPACCIO DI MANZO Also generous portion, the AAA raw beef was sliced nice and thin. The focaccia bread was nice and soft. The seasoning was perfect. LOBSTER CHANTERELLE PASTA The lobster and tagliatelle was cooked to perfection. Al danté pasta and good amount of saffron cream sauce. HALF RACK OF LAMB I wasn't asked my preferred doneness of my lb but it came medium rare. Seasoning and temperature all perfect. WHITE CHOCOLATE TIRAMISU & PANNA COTTA Both made beautifully. A great final touch to my meal and night. It wasn't too sweet but the flavours are all there. Overall I'd definitely return to try more dishes off their regular menu. I had an amazing time and can't wait to revisit.

Love it! excellent food, excellent service. The restaurant is also a bar so is a bit dark and bit loud. But the food is unbelievable, every bite we had was delicious and our waiter was the best, always looking if we needed anything, also they clean your table every time they see something out of the place :)

When I was thinking of where to have my Birthday dinner (Saturday March 26), I wanted a small, cute spot that wasn’t a chain restaurant. My first and only option that stuck out was the CANO Restaurant located at 1108 St. Clair West in Toronto. Where do I start with my review? Atmosphere – Amazing – My party of 12 – they accommodated us in the back at the outdoor patio which was fully closed and had heating lamps – it was a perfect space for such a large party. And it was even warm too. Food – Quality Italian Food. We enjoyed every single bit of our meal that we ordered. Food was amazing. Everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Meal price was reasonable – drink prices were a bit pricy – but hey, it was a special night. The service – was unmatchable. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu - offering great recommendations. He was very professional. Accommodating – I was aloud to bring my Birthday cake (which I baked myself) to the restaurant – and they were so kind enough to store it in the fridge until it was time for dessert. This restaurant is surely a hidden GEM that we all discovered, and we will continue to visit. I highly recommend this restaurant.
