B	Brodie Brooks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked for the company back in 2017 as I had just started. I had a tragedy in the family with a sudden death a few days into my working relationship. At first they were very understanding for the first few days but then persistent on when I was coming back and we're very pushy about it. After almost a week and a half of grieving with the family, I was let go by Canadian utility Construction as I was considered unreliable. At the end of the day I understand when somebody just starts working somewhere it's the time when you're building a relationship but when somebody dies in the family people need more than a week to grieve and to deal with all the legalities and circumstances that come out afterwards and I was very persistent on trying to get back to work within two maybe three weeks but they just couldn't take my circumstances into account. I would not recommend using Canadian utility construction for any business purposes or for anybody looking for a job as they do not treat people Fair when they need time off unexpectedly.

No care was taken to protect private property as rocks and dust littered our vehicles. Once the work was complete, the left over gravel was swept into the storm drain. The patchwork paving job was horrendous as the photo shows. When I called to voice my concern about the job, I spoke to the foreman of the site who showed zero compassion or understanding. He denied that any rocks were hitting our vehicles, or that the left over materials were swept into the drain. He offered to come by and sweep up the gravel, I wonder if this will happen? Unprofessional, and if you have a say in the matter, do not use their services.
