Great store, good selection.

*PLEASE SHARE! Canadian Tire is continuously deleting my post!* 3 weeks ago I purchased a Champion water pump from Canadian Tire costing me $431.67 I had close to two feet of water in my basement and needed a pump for that purpose ASAP! The pump was defective and their policy is to provide an exchange on opened items. The store and all stores in my surrounding area did not have any of the pumps in stock, hence they could not provide me with an exchange. I had to go to a different store entirely (Les outils Pierre Berger) and purchase another pump costing me $540.35 as the flooding in my basement needed to be cleared out ASAP. This dates back to March 15th, 2019. I'm now at the 3 week mark and the store I purchased the pump from, the head office and Champion power equipment have been of absolutely no help at all in the matter. I get emails and phone calls telling me they're "investigating the matter" and that's it. Since they could not provide an exchange I wanted my money reimbursed. Well they refuse to do so. Since the purchase of my farm in July 2017 I have spent over $13,000 equipping my stable and garage with their products. Lawn tractor, snowblower, tiller, 2 generators, multiple tool chests and thousands in tools, air compressors, 4 wheel barrows, ladders, two 3 in 1 hand trucks, thousands in power tools and the list goes on and on and on. I'm at my wits end and want my money reimbursed since it is not my fault that they cannot provide an exchange. I was also told they can't call me to let me know if they get the product back in stock but to call them every two weeks until they did. Extremely unprofessional! I cannot believe the absolute lack of customer service from Canadian Tire's head office and the absolute rudeness of the management from their Canadian Tire store in St-Hyacinthe, QC who are unwilling to do anything whatsoever. *Please help me get Canadian Tire to take notice of the issue and get my money refunded* Thank you to all that share!

I'm in love with CT, many nice items with prices not too inflated, at least compared to the other big competitors. Very nice discounts and bonus are offered quite often.

Hard to get service not enough employees

Got there at 12h because of a serious car issue on a Saturday unannounced. Staff was very upfront with the cost of the repairs, which were reasonable. Called a few hours later when the job was well done. Would go there again. Thanks guys.

Excellent things to buy albeit with somewhat high prices, but excellent service from the staff.

I was passing through and had a flat on my rv and the staff there on Sunday morning were very helpful.

Loved the store! Pleasant staff and products so well organized and clean! Bought online and took at the store! Very fast staff. Also bought some stuff at the store! All good deals and great quality!
