I'm usually very happy with the service and selection at Canadian Tire but on Tuesday, Nov. 30th at about 1:30 pm I wanted to ask a staff member for help in finding an item. She was stocking tart tins and ignored my initial attempts (2) to get her attention. When I said "Excuse me" (nicely) she answered with a gruff voice - "What do you want?" She never stood or looked in my direction. I told her that I was sorry to bother her and would get out of her way. Because of the retail situation we are in, I try to be pleasant no matter what is happening but this really needs to work both ways.

I first called to see if you could fix a tire that had a nail in it....you hung the phone up on me. So I drove to the store in hope of you fixing my tire. I bought my tires here, got a nail in a tire so went back to see if they could repair it as it was leaking. They couldn't get me in for two and a half days....the fellow behind the counter said they were booked solid with people who made appointments....the absolute last time I will ever go here for tires. I went to Fountain Tire and they fixed it....next time I need tires I will be going there.

Ok sad day today, although i will just add it to many of late from the store in Moose Jaw, beautiful new store by the way. Today as i was shopping found my item and out of the corner of my eye i see another tool lots on the rack looked at the price and said yes , don't need it but could find a use. well get to the till and find out its 3 times the price they do there dance check it discuss it between 3 people managers included no sorry just no so i have names the product # and will just continue to back lash the store just had enough of their disbelief of and to the consumer. I know the rules but nothing, i work in the retail work force, i am getting so frustrated with there business practices and do not believe in CT no more they are not the best price or any part of best in my eyes anymore, I have been Loyal Consumer for more then 20 years here in MJ. I know they won't care but thought i would share. Ok wow i have heard back with a number to call surprised. I have now call there customer service line and was able to share my experience with Becky what a wonderful person with a tentative ear. She is a keeper. This call represents Corp Canadian Tire not the store but was told they will send on the incident to the owner, thank you for that. Thank you Becky you have put back reassurance for Canadian Tire Canada but also believe the private store in Moose Jaw has a long way to go. Thanks JC

this is by far one of the worst stores. attempted to purchase a bicycle that i had looked up ahead online that was showing available. went to the store and was told it was at the new store but i could pay for it and they would ship it and i could pick it up. after a week went to see what was up and after a 20 min wait was told that i wasn't in the system and that i would be better off cancelling my order. so i did. this is constant issue with moose jaw CT. i should be allowed to charge them for the time i spend waiting around to find out they don't know anything.

I purchased an item here before Christmas and it was the last item on the shelf and the box was slightly damaged. When I got to the till I clarified with the cashier that this item can be returned if the box was damaged. She checked with the manager and they said it’s fine and they made a note of it on my receipt, which they did. I gave this gift to my brother for Christmas and he wanted it returned and to get something different. The receipt and item were presented and the manager said this item can’t be returned because the box was damaged, despite there being a note of this on the receipt and being told it can be returned and she wouldn’t back down noting the staff member was unaware of the return policy. I can respect one’s return policy, but when you’re told by an employee and manager at the time of sale you can return the item and it’s noted on the receipt, it seems it’s only fair to honour that. I ended up having to call corporate who agreed that this issue should have been handled differently in store and it was unnecessary for it to get to this point. I was really appreciative and happy with how it was handled in the end but am disappointed it had to get to that point versus then just handling the situation fairly in store. If you have issues with their customer service, give their main number a call online and they’ll likely help you more than the store

Having to get staff to unlock multiple cases and walk items up to the till is a major issue. The fishing lure case alone is a mess just because there are multiple panels and you can't see behind them or move them without getting someone to unlock it and if you want to browse, they have to open up each door and stand there and it makes you feel rushed while they are standing there. I get theft can be a problem but it's not little things under $10-$20 being stolen. I've shopped at many CT stores in SK and AB and this is the only one that has to keep half the store behind glass. I hope the new store opening in a few months doesn't do this.

Called the service department to book my vehicle in for maintenance. I was put on hold by 2 different staff member and was on hold for a total of 25 minutes. After 25 minutes of waiting for them to book an appointment for a vehicle an employee picked up the phone asking if I could continue to hold. I informed employee that I have already been on hold for 25 minutes and simply want to book an appointment. I was then informed that they have a line up of people in front of them that are essentially more important than my phone call. Needless to say I hung up and booked my vehicle elsewhere. This is not the first bad experience I’ve had with the automotive department. Overall displeased with the customer service.

Went to Canadian Tire to fix an older motor vehicle key fob. In the recent past, I had bought a brand new fob in hopes that it would work on my vehicle. It absolutely would not. I suspected that today's visit would be just as disappointing. I was pleasantly surprised! Kyle asked if he could help me. I said that I was looking for a new key fob. Kyle said that they did not have a new fob in stock, however, one could be ordered in. The brand new fob would NOT include remote command start and would cost $80 plus tax. I did not want a fob without remote command start. I asked if a new battery would help? Kyle said that the Customer Service desk had the battery area. I approached the counter and waited for a second before Kayke noticed me and asked if he could help me. I said that I needed a new battery for my fob and asked if he could assist me with finding the right one for my old fob. Kayke came right out from behind the counter and didn't hesitate to hunt the right one down from the sea of batteries lining the display wall. Kayke had some trouble reading the information from the back of the fob to get the codes, however, after busting a gut trying to figure it out - HE GOT IT! Kayke nailed it on the first shot and found the right battery in an instant! With a triumphant and energetic bounce, Kayke plucked it from the hook and promptly went to work on getting the fob open to install said cell. Kayke was worried that he might damage the fob in his efforts to open it. I reassured him that it did not work as it was, so, if it did get damaged - so what. At least he is trying! Well, he worked on that thing for half an hour. Ever so gently poking, prodding and super carefully prying it open bit by bit. Like it was a stubborn Oyster. Kayke incorporated the use of an elastic band wrapped around the tip of the screw driver he was using. He worked and worked on that fob. Finally, he breathed a sigh of satisfaction and popped it open! He asked me when I last changed it. I admitted to never. I was surprised it even worked at all! Kayke popped the dead bullet out of the chamber and popped the new one in! Kayke and I both took note of how strong the lights flashed on the fob! With the fob seemingly working, we could avoid and bypass testing the battery back at the Auto Service desk to check for life. Declaring Victory, I told Kayke that I am a Google Guide Level 6 and that he was getting a 5 star review for his efforts and Customer Service that day! BRAVO, Kyle and Kayke! By the way: the fob worked SO WELL THAT I WENT OUT TO MY VEHICLE TO FIND IT RUNNING AND I LEFT IT OFF. Kayke accidentally started it EVEN THOUGH HE POINTED IT ***INTO THE STORE*** AND NOT AT THE PARKING LOT! Cool. I am happy.
