J	Jonathan D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 5 years ago I purchased tires at a Red Deer Canadian Tire, and purchased the 6 year warranty for them. After 70k km and 5 years, my tires developed severe sidewall cracking, causing one tire to blow out while hauling a snowmobile trailer back from BC. As it was within the 6 years and the tires had over 2/32 inch tread remaining, I brought the truck in for warranty on the tires. After reviewing their terms of warranty, I saw no reason for my claim to be denied. Unfortunately, the service manager made the decision to deny my claim, stating that the tires had uneven tread wear caused by negligence. He went on to state that the tires must have been parked in water, the cracking is weather related, and because all 4 tires were cracked, it is not a manufacturer defect; I would argue the contrary, if all 4 tires have the same issue, it certainly is a, manufacturer issue. When I tried to point out there is nothing about "weather" voiding the warranty, he just responded with "it is not a manufacturer defect and the decision has been made". I also tried to explain that 5 years of regular commuting should not cause total sidewall degradation, to no avail. I have contacted corporate try and have this resolved, but I am very unimpressed with this Canadian Tire location. I will never buy vehicle parts or tires, or have service done, at any Canadian Tire location ever again.

And both times they told me it was too and I wake up to go to work and my tire is completely flat for the 3rd time. Never taking my vehicle back and I definitely do not recommend Sylvan Lake Canadian tire to anyone
S	Shawn Danbrook on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dropped off some summer tires to be mounted to a set of rims. Weren't ready to go when specified. Had to return a second time to get them. Put them on my vehicle only to realize 2 tires have bead leaks. Returned to get this fixed told to come back next day. Poorly run and shoddy work. Won't ever take any vehicle there again.

I bought 2 lg cans of paint, and one of them could have only been a small can as it was for just one wall, but I wasn't told that (and have lots of extra left over). Otherwise, staff was friendly.

I asked the manager for a discount on the plant or I wouldn't buy it. He literally said he'll wait too sell them too people who don't know better and if there's any extra at the end of the summer to come back for them. What a horrible way to do business! Where is the integrity in that.

I didn’t have an appointment but she squeezed us in to get our block heater repaired. The service technician was also very friendly and quickly resolved the issue. Much appreciated when it’s -30 outside!
