★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When the location of a first aid course I booked online was changed, I wasn't notified until the the day before the course was to have been held. The woman who called agreed to change my reservation to a course the following week, but the location hadn't been confirmed at that time. She promised someone would call with the correct location before the start date of the new course she'd booked for me, but nobody did. Instead, I called on the Friday before the course and was given the incorrect location. Arriving on Saturday morning and finding nobody there, I was unable to reach anyone from the Red Cross because both the St. John's office and national call centre were closed for the weekend. This carelessness by the office staff risks having clients miss training they need for work. If you need first aid training, I recommend obtaining it elsewhere.
