j	jarrett binx on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a small business owner here in Alberta, our company has signed up with cfib apoximatly 5 months ago, after careful consideration. and roughly 2 hours of meetings with our "district manager". We were in the process of figuring out what company we were going to use for our benefits, and already had a credit card processing company that we were dealing with. the conversations with our local rep led us to believe that signing up would pay for itself. were were paying 2.65 percent on credit card purchases through our previous processing company and we were told as a club member chase would give us a 1.6-1.8% rate. he even did the math with us to show us how much we would save. I recently got my first invoice from chase and am sad to announce that with there hidded fees I am now paying 3.05% and am locked in for some time unless I want to pay penalties. also after doing some major digging on employee benefits the cfib package is the worst one we've come across. CFIB is currently costing me aproximatly 300$ a month with their fees and my uped interest rate. wish someone left a honest review on here before I became a member. save yourself the hassle and tell CFIB to stuff it when they come nocking.

They are always working on issues behind the scenes at a much higher level than what I could ever find the time to tackle. They may not always be working on the issues that are important to my business at that time, but they are always working on issues that affect us all in small business. In my opinion, all small business owners should be a member of this association.

During the COVID-19 crisis the CFIB was our main source of information for how to navigate the government programs and crisis in general. Through following them on Twitter we truly felt like we had someone supporting our business through these challenging times. The CFIB website was constantly kept updated for members and non-members and many times it was more informative and better written than the actual government websites. CFIB was truly a difference maker for us as we made critical decisions.
