Absolutely horrible service from entitled public servants. I would give them a 0 Star rating if possible. When you call its anywhere between 30 to 90 minute wait .

waited on hold for 4 hours, had to be transferred, waited another 2 hours and their office closed without ending the call, called in the morning again and waited another 4 hours only to be told i need to fax something to prove my employment which they said can take up to 4 months to process even though they have access to all of this information already on their end

I am trying to send the CRA (Saskatoon) a fax. I have attempted to send the fax over the three (3) days. I have made seven (7) attempts. The fax has sent me a "THE DOCUMENT:FAILED". The fax machine works because I have send numerous faxes from the machine over the same period of time. this is absolutely frustrating to say the least. Absolutely poor service this time and many other times.

Very long wait time over the phone. I had to wait for 2.5 hours to get hold of an agent. However, the agent was very helpful and solved my problem. She was very patient while I was rummaging through my documents.

The number takes so long to reach anyone. I have no idea why you don't employ more staff if the wait times are ALWAYS 3-4 hours, and there is no guarantee you'll even speak to anyone if you wait that long. There absolutely needs to be a call back option because who the heck wants to hover around their phone, listening to static-y music for 3-4 hours?

Would give zero stats if possible. The entire government set up is a total joke. It takes, at the absolute best, half a day to talk to someone and still possibly not get anything solved, and they have been doing some really shady stuff with disproportionately targeting minorities and the disabled for repayment of benefits. I myself am on assistance due to physical health issues, have no chance of working anywhere because of knees and back, at only 28, and they decide to hit me with a demand for $2400 to be paid in full by may 24th, out of nowhere. Call center takes 10-15 mins of dealing with menu after menu after menu before there is even an option to talk to a person, then there is an average wait time of 2-4 hours. They are horribly understaffed and dont seem to care about people at all. There needs to be a complete reworking of this, and many other, government programs. This entire government is failing the country, and that needs to be fixed fast before it completely falls apart. It's already nearly impossible to live in canada, too many hoops to jump through and too much red tape about everything.
