The sketch is the most authentic in the Metro Vancouver area. It is suitable for foundation, but it is only suitable for foundation.

โ โ โ โ โ I would give zero stars if it was an option. I went there a few years ago, and the teacher, an old Asian lady yells at me and other students for minor mistakes. Very rude and unprofessional. DO NOT COME HERE

โ โ โ โ โ I have to agree on every 1 star review. The Asian lady Christina has been really rude to my child, she has yelled to many children and teens. My kid has complained about this a couple years back and I took him out of this class. Every teacher in this class has been rude to my child so I do not recommend going here if you want you learn fine arts.

โ โ โ โ โ I have been to this art school for almost 10 years, and I can vouch that it is one of the finest, solid foundational schools in classical style arts. The school also brings a sense of community among young artists!
Regarding the negative comments:
The old teacher is a conservative Chinese lady who can be tough on students, but she brings real improvement in their skills. Students who have been taught by her for a while know that she criticizes their skills, not the person themselves. If your child is sensitive to this kind of teaching, please find a different art school. In the end, this art school focuses on skill, it's not just a fun camp for children!
