Founded in 1892, the German Society of Winnipeg (GSW) is one of the oldest cultural societies in Canada, mirroring the cultural aspirations of hundreds of thousands of Manitobans of Germanic origin.
As well, Canadians of German heritage are among the largest ethnic groups in both Manitoba and Canada.
There are many cultural groups affiliated with the GSW.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ T’is a curious place, much fun and frolics ‘til late into the night. It is also a place of beauty that a strange Canadian ritual takes place, it involves the throwing of trash into the lake and ditches, how bizarre?
I love picking up others trash so it would have been 5 stars except for the dog egg bag, not doing dog presents.
