Very organized but as a christian I don't really see the reason for the game of paintball. Overall. Very good. My kids loved it

Love the pool! Only there's way too much chlorine in the hot tub. Also the beds are comfortable and the staff are very kind and accommodating.

The camp was beautiful, we took our youth group there. Some of the cabins are a little outdated, but they seem to be upgrading them slowly. We really enjoyed the salt water pool, and activities. Only downside was that they didn't take care of the ice problem on their paths around the camp. Lots of slipping and sliding.

I have been to Camp Arnes for 4 summers in a row, and I can safely say it is my favourite camp in Winnipeg. I have never been to a camp where I felt so at home and welcome. The staff/crew are all kind and supportive to everyone. The activities and games are enjoyable even for a teenager like me. I am a very quiet person, and I was so scared when I came here all alone for the first time. Although it took a day or two to settle in, I made new friends quickly and started to open up to the idea of God. (I almost never open up to anyone. This was incredible for me!) I was also a little bit unsure whether or not I would want to spend my time at a christian camp, but the staff and cabin leaders teach you about Jesus and God in a very respectful and engaging way, and never pressure you into believing in Jesus/God. The stories that the crew and cabin leaders tell you about their journeys into Christianity are incredible and really change your view on religion. I really feel connected to the people around me at camp, and I feel so joyful there. My only criticism is food options. As a vegetarian, I believe that there should be more food options available for people like me. The food that the chefs cook is always delicious, however, there is barely any food available for vegans/vegetarians, and we often get literally whatever we can that doesn't have meat (Which isn't a lot.) The staff told us to not bring any snacks because they had vegetarian options available at camp, but if I hadn't had brought any snacks to camp I feel like I would have been underfed. This was my humble review on Camp Arnes. Nothing has ever opened my eyes and hearts to religion and love like this camp has. I will always come back to this camp every summer, and I highly recommend sending your child/teen off to this camp, even if it is only a week because you learn so much about yourself and religion and have fun while doing it. Thank you for reading my long review, and thank you Camp Arnes for helping me become a better person.

We stayed in Poplar Grove and had our retreat sessions in the meeting room that is part of the facility. While we were there, there was an extreme cold warning in effect from the weather office. The rooms were warm but we had to use extra sweaters or quilts to be warm in that meeting room. When the weather warmed up to minus 28C outside then the situation improved. The accommodation is dormitory style. Each room can accommodate 8 people, with 4 lower bunks and 4 upper bunks. There were 4 rooms each per floor, with men on the main floor and women upstairs. The bunk beds were too firm for most of the guys. The ladies did not complain. The men's washroom had 2 stools and one u, and two showers in a curtained off area. The Poplar Grove facility is in a lightly wooded setting well away from road noise, on a secondary highway about a mile or more from the main highway. Nice to get away from the city noise. The dining hall was across the driveway from the facility. A little farther away was the facility with the indoor pool and hot tub. Feet must be covered (socks and/or indoor footware) in the dining hall and modest swimwear worn in the pool/hot tub. There are changing facilities as part of the pool.

We stayed in the camp for 2 days - it was an amazing experience! Staff is very friendly and supportive, they truly care for you during your time. The Poplar Grove building, food, high ropes, giant swing, zip line, archery - everything was totally awesome! Thank you!
