My home away from home and the best place to spend the Summer! My life has been greatly impacted by the supportive, safe, positive and energetic outdoor environment offered by Camp Kearney, and I would surely not be the same me without this amazing camp. As a camper, I looked up to the staff as my role models, and my fellow campers are forever friends with whom I will always share a special bond and connection. Camp Kearney is such a special place that embraces every single person who steps foot on site and has a certain feeling of togetherness and love that you can't find just anywhere. I will always cherish my Summers here. This place is definitely where I belong. <3

Love the new Eco Cabins built on Settlers Ridge! We come up here 3 days with my school and we always have a great time. The leaders are always positive and give our kids a real outdoors experience

Worst experience of my life!!! Never again will I go to "Camp Kerney". The staff are terrible, rude, arrogant, and extremely racist. Kitchen staff did not wear gloves or hair nets. I found hair in my cookie. Everything was watered down (the syrup, pasta sauce, the hot chocolate, ex.). There was another school that went with us. They paid $75 for the trip while our group paid $140. The only part I enjoyed was hanging out with my friends which they didn't let us do because people would start to "envy" our friendship. We went "winter camping" and it was -15 degrees. They gave us two sleeping bags and that didn't help because everyone was still freezing cold. When I woke up in the morning I couldn't feel my legs and I got no sleep at all. It was just a terrible experience all toghether and I don't recommend it for anyone.

I was a camper here for 8 years before I became a staff and I can honestly say that Camp Kearney has had such a huge impact on me as an individual and has greatly shaped who I am as a person now. It pushes people to be environmentally conscious as well as have a huge appreciation for the outdoors. Camp Kearney is such a loving environment with so much energy and positivity that they make you want to come back year after year. The counsellors and senior staff are always there to help you out and are all incredibly kind. I'm so glad to have had found this camp, I will remember it always. 12/10 CK for life!! <3

It was a nice experience, most of the food there was excellent, but what really bothered me was how we had to go outside exploring in the rain, we played "predators and prey" Outside when it was raining cats and dogs. Most staff there are nice, some get ticked off really easily. One thing that was great was that we get to be out of the city and get to experience the outdoors. It really give you and your classmates a bonding experience. We stayed in the homestead, it was NOT a great place to stay, knowing we saw 2 mouses in our cabin. Overall experience was okay, not sure if I would want to go back.

When I was looking for the contact info I was surprised to find Google reviews. I've sent my kids here for summer camp 2 and 3 years respectively, and they consistently say how much they love it. As an urbanite, I appreciate the opportunity for them to experience the outdoors, and under the supervision of teachers and teachers-in-training. I went here as a camper myself, and in recent years the place has become a bit of a "best kept secret" for alumni like me. But with enrollment dropping, I don't want to keep summer camps here a secret any longer. Highly recommend!

The worst place ever. The people who work here are rude and so strict. The food is disgusting, its unseasoned and under cooked. The stuff there is also over priced (merchandise, souvenirs). I wouldn’t ever send my child there if they got the opportunity. The cabins are nasty, there are rodents that can be found throughout and the showers are even more disgusting. How do you expect children to shower for 3 minutes and have a proper clean??? I don’t know how or why they do things like that out there but that definitely isn’t something I’d like to partake in ever again.

Great experience had fun all the staff were nice and my classmates had fun too. Got back today the only problem is that it was rainy so many of our activities got canceled. But otherwise was fun, a great bonding experience with your friends and the food was great. Thx to everyone who made this such a great experience.
