A	Andrew M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay with Andrea and Bongo's was fantastic. Easy to find, the space was large, very warm, and comfortable. It is a great spot to stay if you are planning for a weekend in Algonquin given it's proximity to the East Gate. Andrea and Bongo are lovely, helpful, and inspired people. We were treated to their common room musical jam on Saturday night which was great fun. We definitely felt more Canadian after our visit! We will be back again for sure!

There are a bunch of different areas to get into the water. Bongo is an awesome person :) Will definitely be back here again

My current trip was for 3 days, 2 nights. + Bongo is very polite, organized, experienced host, positive attitude and very helpful Always. Replies in less than an hour always. + great price for the accommodation + PET FRIENDLY!!!!!!!!!! + location is amazing. Just a few km from Algonquin, next to the river, LCBOs, restaurants & gas stations, pharmacy, police station + rooms are very clean, well equipped with mugs, en suite bathroom, warm, and a mini fridge + Bongo takes covid very seriously, so I felt safe from a covid standpoint. He even offered to pick up something to avoid me (outsider) to enter the stores in the local area. + the cabin itself is beautiful from the outside, driveways are well plowed for snow, and there’s a BBQ + space for a campfire on site + snow shoe rental is available from Bongo - potential downsides (depends on your perspective) no wifi, no microwave and access to kitchen. He has mugs and cutlery for you though!

Propane grill fridge etc was provided to cook food. You can do you own bonfire at night. Ample parking at the location. Will definitely recommend this place if you are visiting Algonquin area.

We stayed in "Ken's Cabin" and it had everything we could have asked for and more. The CD collection brought back so many great memories for me and my partner. The Saturday night jam was fantastic. I could go on and on but I would say take a weekend and enjoy one of the best accommodations that Whitney, Ontario has to offer. I know we will be back.

The place is so clean and well kept. The canoes are so close to the water and makes it easier to portage as you see fit ! Definitely worth the trip!!!!
