N	Nish “Kal” Desai on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I didn’t live as far as I did from this place, I’d probably have half my salary going to them every month. xD THE best and most authentic Nepali momos/dumplings you’ll ever eat/relish. Remember watching Po eating those amazingly soft, hot dumplings in Kung Fu Panda? THESE ARE THOSE DUMPLINGS - but even better, because Calgary Momo House really does have Po’s secret ingredient - that spicy chilli sauce/chutney. Mix the tomato sauce (that looks yellow) and that amazing chilli sauce (the red one) with every bite and you get teleported to that place the critic does in the Ratatouille movie. I love that the food and chutneys here are 100% authentic and not anglicized or bland AF at all just to appeal to a local audience, which is what makes them always packed on Fri-Sat eves. They’ve found a lifelong fan in me, that’s for sure! :D P.S. don’t forget to order a Thums Up cola to perfectly match that pleasant spice in your mouth!

After my post, Chef Prakash who founded Calgary Momo House reached out to express his apologies and asked me to come back to try one more time. I finally returned and I can now totally understand the hype. ?? ??? ??? ?? ?? ????! A total turnaround from our takeout experience! The jhol momos are a must try and I would 100% recommended them! I can’t wait to go back and have some more! Also a very special shout-out to @yycchefpm for keeping the restaurant running so smoothly even though he was short-staffed and all tables were full. S	Saima Kamran on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nepalese cuisines, where you can enjoy handmade momos with many different fillings including Chicken, Mutton, Vegas and Paneer, you can eat them fried, steamed or tandoori and the best part is that all the dishes are made fresh and everything is #halal ?The menu options are an excellent value. The food was fresh and awesome. Totally recommend the butter chicken (it was the best butter chicken I have ever had not too sweet and was perfectly cooked) and Tandoori Momo but of course, everything else we eat was so delicious too and I loved the presentation of the food it was 10/10 ?Then we also had dessert and that was really good as well.

The staff were absolutely lovely, the portions generous, and a great selection of cocktails and desserts to go along with the meal. I'd never had momo before, but am a BIG fan of dumplings- I was definitely not disappointed! Quick service as well. Shout out to the lovely waitress who asked if I wanted a video before taking the dome off of my smoked old fashioned (because I totally did ?)

Our kids ordered the butter chicken and LOOVED it, Chef G was able to make sure it wasn’t spicy for them. We had more dishes, I just didn't take the photos. It’s a great place to eat. It’s a must try!

We chose the Butter Chicken & Chili momo dishes. Both pan fried, the texture is crisp with perfectly seasoned minced chicken and vegetables. Served with two types of house-made hot sauces, one of which will take you by surprise. We finished with the Fresh Cream Cake, with a layer of mango in the centre, the lightest bite and not too sweet. Genuine, attentive service. Worth a try!

The food is so good and reminded my girlfriend so much of Nepal. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the customer service was very good as well. We'll be going back when next we're in Calgary. Definitely recommend if you want good authentic Nepali food!

They offer a variety of dishes, but best known for their ???????? ??-????? ?????. Every dish we tried was an explosion of flavours and delicious. ? The portions size are very generous, which is great for sharing. Due to limited spacing, I do recommend making reservations in advance.
