We placed our son in one of their programs in the spring and it seemed to help him with his skating, so we didn’t hesitate to sign him up for a one week summer camp back in August. It happened to fall on the second week of August where Monday was a holiday. This is important to note because the camp charge was $495, but that's the cost for five days and since Monday was a holiday, the company told us they would refund us the one day difference after we pay. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just adjust the charge, but ok. Camp came by, ended, weeks later, no money. Problems with accounting, computer, somehow they just can’t process the refund. It took my husband over two months to chase for the one day refund. Multiple conversations with the owner was met with empty promises. It wasn’t until my husband threatened with filing a fraud charge against them then the refund suddenly came minutes later. TWO MONTHS. Were they thinking people would just forget the $100? Does the owner think this is great for his future business? We would not consider signing up for any more programs with them based on this bad experience.

My son took a summer novice course to get him ready for September assessments. The main owner/operator ran the operation himself and you could tell he was overrun and tired. He was grumpy and dismissive to parents (would not even look us in the eye or say hello) and the kids I think were afraid of him. He never cracked so much as a smile. I don't believe in teaching by intimidation. These little kids look up to coaches and he let them down with his borderline bullying attitude. Never again. not worth it.

Great rink to play in with the smaller ice surface. Really helps improve skills that translates onto the bigger ice. Will go back for sessions to improve

Great little facility! The staff are very friendly. The ice has been in great shape every time I've been there... Only knock (and it really is minor) is that the dressing rooms are small... It really comes down to when you are there with younger kids that require parents to help get them ready, otherwise lots of room to get your stuff in and get in the ice!

Disgusting behaviour by AYHL coach Ben Fryia tonight. Cussing at the ref, followed by walking out onto the ice to yell at the young, female ref, and refusing to leave when she kicked him out. I hope for everyone's sake that he's not allowed to coach kids hockey anymore. A 6'5" male walking out and intimidating a female ref to the point where she had to leave the game - unacceptable. Terrible role model for 7 & 8 year olds. The AYHL needs to be more selective with coaches they allow. Check it out for yourself on Livebarn - Nov 9 @ 5:30pm.

Great little three on three rink. Affordable if you want to rent the ice for an hour. I highly recommend this fun facility especially if you want some one on one training.
