★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great gym, very clean, lots of things to climb for every level. We did family training with James, and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately this place is oversold, and seem to be very busy all the time. Some of the stuff members, like Chris, are obnoxious. I don't enjoy gyms where stuff stares at you and can't wait to give you an unsolicited advise. Mind your own business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just started a membership last week, but today I tore my MCL. I called them up wanting to hopefully get a refund for my membership since I will be in a cast for long time. Without hesitation they gave me the full refund and cancelled my membership. Excellent service.

A large clean workout section, The regulars here are super informative and friendly, I don't feel any gatekeepers type vibe here which is always a plus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ High quality routes and boulders, and lots of em. Very well stocked training area as well: moon board, power rack, slackline, all types of grip and balance implements. Very dirty aesthetic which is very pleasing to me. This gym is heavenly, one of the best I've been to in Canada thus far.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great route setting, environment and music. Don’t judge something by it’s size! ? it’s a great climbing gym with a fantastic training area!! My only comment: I would love they would set more routes or bouldering problems in the sport’s climbing area where there’s a small roof.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The stronghold is an older climbing gym built back when facilities like this were shoehorned into vacant semi-industrial spaces as opposed to the purpose built gyms that are common now. They've done a good job making it work with a variety of routes and have renovated extensively since I first visited around 25 years ago. The biggest problem with this gym is the parking. Their lot is unpleasantly tight with very little street parking. But if you're in the area it's a great gym with great staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far my favorite place to climb! I started here a few months ago with a lesson, and easily became hooked. The bouldering area is unique and changes frequently, making it a constant challenge to try and conquer new routes. There's also a huge variety of walls to climb. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to everyone, wish I could rate it higher!
