About Calgary Alternative Support Services
Calgary Alternative Support Services Inc., (CASS) was founded in 1988 to address the segregation, isolation and limited opportunities available to people with disabilities. CASS enlists and develops human services professionals to support people to discover and contribute their unique strengths and talents. Our work is about making community connections. Whether it’s finding a place to live, getting a job, or connecting with opportunities for participation and learning, CASS serves people and helps to make the community accessible to everyone.
Through the opportunities and connections that CASS facilitates, citizen advocacy for diversity and inclusion is inspired. This is how CASS and the people we support strengthen community.

I appreciate and value all the opportunities that this company has given me, helping me to grow professionally and personally. I have learned a lot in these last months (and I am still learning), and I will never forget the kindness and human warmth of the administration and all my colleagues.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you were to compare CASS with Supportive Lifestyles, CASS is a shining star compared to Supportive Lifestyles. They are continually working towards improving on not only the care and support for the clients, but for the staff as well. This company has more heart than compared to others. I'd like to see them to continue hiring those with a heart of care towards each-other and the clients. It's a shame when the ones with little interest or genuine care for the clients are hired. You don't have to worry about that with this company as compared to others as well.

Aside from training and finance this group really doesn't have much oversight or care for their clients or their sub-contractors.

They accepted me with welcome hands and supported me throughout the period. My CC was very generous, supportive and very professional person and always there to help me during my session with them. I had such a wonderful experience all through my time with them. Thank you all at CASS for your help and support.
