0 rating. Was there for the first & last time. I ordered the
Shish taouk pita. Let's start with the 1 pitiful pita i ordered, the size of a hotdog was $10, which is a rip off...Second the taste was disgusting & very very dry oh & lets not forget it was cold !!
Normally the chicken is supposed to be tender & juicy.
What a waste of my time going to this place & waste of $$$$

Huge variety in the menu. Truly a gem in the eastern townships!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food and the coffee is very good here. The service is friendly and patient. They also sell a good variety of coffee beans and they will grind it for you on the spot. They've also got some pretty pastries. The restaurant seems to have been in business for some while. It's older look, but that isn't a problem. I would have given this place a five star, but I had to deduct one because of the smell. I don't know how to describe it apart from it smelling like a very old building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cafe Rouge was our first stop on an all too brief visit to Quebec. The location of the restaurant was perfect as we explored Bedford. On our arrival, and throughout our time in the cafe, we were welcomed with kindness and treated with appreciation for our visit. As a bonus, the food was fabulous. We loved it!
