Cafe Jindo

Café Jindo began with the idea that everyone deserves to have little luxuries in life; whether it be heated seats in your car or a cup of delicious, locally roasted coffee to smoothly carry you through the day.

We can’t provide the heated seats, but we do partner with other Calgary businesses to create top-quality handmade drinks and eats that provide little moments of escape in your day. As our business grows, we hope to create some exciting collaborations with local artists, artisans, and other small businesses.

We hope to see you soon at our location!

Just stopped by this lovely little cafe up on Heritage! Used to be London Fog. Owner Daniel and his wife are from the area and what a lovely place this is! Cafe is beautifully decorated, has local artist art (which is what attracted me to start taking photos!). I couldn’t help myself I was so hungry so I ate half the croissant right away! But was able to get a good shot! Good price, good food, excellent service! Got to chat with Daniel while he made for me a to go veggie sandwich! And latte is on par. Overall, excellence! Welcome to the neighbourhood!

A very nice cafe to enjoy your favourite coffee, tea, cold drink mixes with a fresh sandwich or pastry. Enjoy your break to escape into a place that is as different as it is familiar with calm and pleasant staff and surroundings. Beautiful plants and artwork provide a serene experience. Well done.

It’s a must for any coffee lover. High quality coffee and lots of “coffee gadgets” with amazing price. Extra points for a knowable, generous and king owner. Excellent experience!

We came to check out their YYC Hot Chocolate Fest entry for 2022. But after walking in, I knew we needed to do a bigger review! This is a cozy Cafe, easy to miss if you're not looking for it, but that just adds to its cozy charming appeal. With art from local artists decorating the walls, a clean and welcoming seating area, and super nice staff. I would definitely recommend! There was definitely a slice of carrot cake calling my name so we will be back. Oh and that hot chocolate I mentioned? Our top pick of 2022

This place is a must to stop by at! The waffles and sandwiches are delicious, the coffee is amazing, and the owner Daniel is even more awesome! He really cares for the local economy and almost everything in his store that’s on sale is from local small businesses. He shared with me that in the pandemic he was inspired to house small businesses to help support the local economy. What more could you ask for from a local coffee shop? You can tell he’s really passionate about coffee and delivering an amazing experience, and is brave to open a coffee shop during the middle of a pandemic! He supports local, so I’m more than happy to support him! The food is great too so I cant complain.

This place has come to be my favourite café in the city! I've now tried a variety of Café Jindo's food and drinks since discovering them in July 2021: lattes, hot chocolate, sweet waffles, savoury waffles, baked goods, etc., and have yet to be disappointed. Seriously delicious! I would say that the pricing here is consistent with other cafés, if not actually slightly cheaper when it comes to food. Other things that make Café Jindo great: its people, and its space. Aside from having consistently courteous and friendly staff members, this place also rocks for featuring several local artists throughout its area! Café Jindo has also catered for various events for the community association that I volunteer with. Tasty, reliable, and priced at a fair rate - this café is always a big hit with event attendees!
