I got the steak and pepperoni sub and it was exceptional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a Breakfast Special from this place through Doordash after seeing a deal they offered, with no real expectations. In it for the deal only. And it turned out to be the BEST food I had eaten in months. Period.
The cheesy eggs were genuinely delicious, the ham and hash-browns were perfectly cooked. The avocado I’d thrown in on a whim was ripe and firm while not loosing any of it’s juiciness.
The London Fog I’d ordered as a drink was ALSO perfect, even with the slight leak in the disposable cup’s bottom, because this place’s plastic bag kept all the lost liquid COMPLETELY contained and STILL WARM. I poured it right back in without a drop on me and still got to drink the whole thing.
I never post reviews on anything, but I am so genuinely impressed with Cafe & Grill on Cambie & 6 Rd. I’m full and content but still want to eat more! The only reason no pictures are accompanying this is because I ate it all too fast to take any.
Seriously. BEST FOOD I’VE EATEN IN MONTHS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely WONDERFUL food. I ordered the breakfast special on doordash and it came so well packaged with awesome presentation like a happy face. Everything was cooked just right and tasted like a perfect breakfast.
The shepherd's pie was like a mouthful of hearty comfort and warmth. It's like a perfect shepherds pie! Thick mash potato top with flavorful beef and veggie bottom. Bliss with every bite.
The tomato vegetable soup was also creamy yet tangy... Like just pure yum.
The menu here seems to just have every thing you would want to eat when you are craving classic reliable comfort classic foods.
It's like Pleasantville or some movie perfect North American food in real life. I was very impressed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This humble establishment exceeded all expectations. For starters, the food came fast after offering and tasted delicious. The coffee was strong and flavorful. The staff were all friendly and warm even though we visited at about 7:30 a.m. in the morning for their breakfast. We ordered the bacon breakfast and coffee and finished it all. They also offer several lunch dishes, including Korean style food, which my friend has described as delicious too. If you work in the area, do not hesitate to drop by for a meal. You might become a regular!
