Cachet Homes (Brampton)

I am rating Cachet Homes a 1 star until they resolve the many issues my husband and I have to deal with, very disappointed and irritaed because they sold us lies from day one and then turn around and say that word of mouth does not hold up in court of law when no one threatened them with court?! Thank goodness we had pictures to prove everything. First off we bought our property for the sole purpose of having extra yard space for our soon to be toddler along with a fireplace for guests. Upon our home inspection we noticed that they covered up the hole where our fireplace was to be, we payed for this and they denied it was ever there, had to fight so hard for this and didn't need this stress during my 3rd trimester, finally they admitted their fault when presented with our evidence. Then it comes to the year end warranty, oh boy, do they ever have a long list of screw ups, our protruding garage walls still need to be fixed, our stairwell still needs to be completed, list goes on.... Then we also payed for a second layer of asphalt and the still haven't done that,made the entire neighbourhood park far for nothing and when we emailed them and called them countless times they say it was already completed, we are still fighting for this to be done... Currently, we are dealing with them stealing 6feet of land that runs almost 30ft long. They decided to go-ahead and place a fence smack down in the middle of our property because of an easement they failed to disclose during the purchase agreement, we have asked them to place fence along our property line, curbside and remove thier easement...still waiting for a solution. My husband and I will change the rating based on the resolution of everthing mentioned above.

We are extremely frustrated with Cachet Homes and how they have treated the community in Mount Hope. They have completely disrupted the adjoining homes to their new development without any communication or concern. They have created such a disgusting mess and are devaluing the local homes and community. The dirt and dust and vibration is affecting all the surrounding houses - you cannot use the outside space or backyards. The vehicles are getting damaged and the homes exteriors are coated with thick film of dirt. It is appalling that they have contacted us or responded to countless emails. why would anyone buy a house this company?

This company is a joke, their contractors find laborers through kijiji and tell them, "you're working for cachet homes". After a week or so contractor fire the employee and hire new guys through kijiji, and don't want to pay to the previos employees. Cachet home management says that they are not responsible for their contractors. On the other hand contractors are using Cachet Homes name while hiring.
