C	Chad Carrol on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their delivery driver was told by asphalt pavers on my street too not drive on the drive way because the pavement is only a few days old. The driver gets to my house and ignores the pavers and asks my wife if he can pull his machine onto the driveway to drop the load of wood. My wife didn't know better and said ok. He damaged our driveway in numerous spots ripping up the asphalt. Then took off. The pavers saw this and came over to ask why he did that when they told him not to 5 mins before . I called bytown lumber to complain and ask that they repair the driveway... they polity told me to go f**k myself. Will never deal with this company again.

M	Michelle Presley on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered $2000 worth of lumber to build our deck on a Friday. We were told Bytown would deliver in the AM the next Wednesday. Well, Wednesday day comes around, morning passes, no delivery, no phone call. Husband calls them just after 1pm asking what is going on? They tell us sorry we are really busy and won't get to you today. Ok, as someone who has worked in customer service for close to 20 years, knows, this is very bad customer service! If you cannot "deliver" your product on time, at least call the client to let them know! We waited around all morning! This is the last time we do service with Bytown Lumber.

I big thank you especially to Christopher for his speedy assistance with providing / amending quotes for me, as well as the delivery driver (unfortunately I forget his name, but I am sure he has the high score at all the claw games at local arcades given his skills with the crane off loading the skids of lumber :) I very highly recommend this place for your home reno needs, price, selection and quality are far above that which you find at the big box places these days. I have been looking to build a deck for over a year now, between COVID and the lumber shortage this has been no easy task. Now that I have been able to get lumber I am off to the races. Thanks Bytown!!
