★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This vet clinic gave my little chihuahua top notch care and service. I had a bad experience with another vet clinic in town where they were extremely rough with my (3 lb!) dog. I was worried about taking her to another place for her booster shots but this clinic showed so much care and compassion and put my dog right at ease before they brought her in. They were just wonderful and I will be taking her back going forward. You can tell that all the staff love animals and treat them like members of their own family. I highly recommend them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are lucky enough to be taken as a patient here, you will not be disappointed.
This is a small vet clinic. There is only one vet working there and a small staff so the service is consistent.
You can tell they love all animals and form a bond with your pet right away.
They are in a rough neighbourhood and occasionally have some very difficult cases to deal with, with very ill pets and very ill people, and the way they handle them should win an award - I don't know about you, but that's the kind of people I want to look after my dogs.
You may find there are a few nasty rumours floating around town about this vet (and actually about every business in this town depending on who you talk to)
Talk to some people that actually take their pets there and you will find they have a great reputation.
Recently had my rottweilier spayed here, and they did fine work, she is back to normal overnight, has no pain or discomfort and the incision looks great
I will not go anywhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The most compassionate staff! My pal was at the end of his life unfortunately and they treated both of us with such kindness and genuine sadness of his passing. I just received a beautiful card from the staff of Bute St vet clinic with their condolences. They really go above and beyond, I cannot say enough nice things! I’ll be back with my pups for sure ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I want to say thank you to every one of the staff they went way above and beyond in attempts to save my giant breed Douge de bordeaux who got very sick and was diagnosed with Kidney disease. I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and compassion that they had for my boy and our family, they treated him like royalty, even though he was going in for daily IV he was so excited to go see them. Special thank you to the doctor for being there and for the tough job that you have. I am forever grateful for all that you did for my boy!
