The BURNCO Board extends a warm welcome to Tom Zais in his new role as the CEO for the BURNCO Group of companies. Tom will be responsible for overseeing all Canadian and US operations.
Tom has a Civil Engineering degree from Texas A&M University as well as an MBA from the University of Houston. He brings to BURNCO more than two decades of experience in senior management positions in the construction materials industry.
Tom currently holds a Board role with the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association and has earned recognition for his leadership in safety, financial and operational performance.
Tom will maintain offices in both Canada and the United States as he rolls out his vision for BURNCO.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently purchased a cubic yard bag of "premium" vegetable and garden soil mix. The soil is terrible and just hardened immediately in the beds; when it gets water the water sits on top and the whole mixture is very clay like. It also has a number of larger rocks in it. It's entirely not appropriate for gardens as I intended, and anticipated by the product name. When I reached out to the company to try and figure out if the wrong product had been delivered by mistake and if so that I would at least appreciate a refund of the difference between the product received and paid for, the only response I received was a suggestion to "break up the hard soil when it hardens". Awful product and wholly unsatisfactory customer service. I'm sorry I wasted my money and suggest you use yours with a company who stands behind their product, and further has a product to stand behind.
