Took a TON of stress off of my back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 40 years ago I asked the receptionist for a glass of water and they beat me black and blue until I was unconscious. I am still stuck unde r the floors and have been forced to befreind the rats :(((( it okay though since they sometimes bring me pieces of wax to chew on :)))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As an adult ABE student, upgrading with BBY School district has been nothing but greif. From the disorganization of some of the teachers, to the incompetence of the admin staff. Can't even code students correctly. To get them to fix their error has been a long and painful process, that requires constant follow up as you get passed off and forgotten. It seems you have to get angry, and go above the person you're dealing with to get anything done. I gave two stars because the English teacher I had was actually very good, but he has since retired.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really have no idea what's the point getting angry? Just ask some question about the international student's admission . No one be patient for us.. just five mins conversation, I extremely have no time and no space to cut in and ask my own questions..I know everyone is busy and every one has own works have to do, so am I ?! I'm a newcomer to Canada, I have to work, I'm busy as well. I just wanna have a comfortable conversation. Is that hard?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is about school registration process with Burnaby School District. Honestly, after experience with VSB (Vancouver School Board) district registration, this registration was fast and pleasant. You can choose your own appointment time online and once showed up at reception you can wait in a very cozy waiting room. The lady who accepted our paperwork was very courteous and professional, she quickly interviewed us, made photocopies of our documents, explained the process in details and answered our questions. The only grief I have is about location, it is not easily accessed from major bus/train routes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought they were great until I found out they had my daughter chained to a work desk manufacturing Malibu Stacey dolls. I appreciate her being taught a strong work ethic early on and receiving an accurate picture of her life to come in a disappearing middle class, but they didn't give her OR me and share in the profits. This is somewhat exploitative in my opinion
