J	Jam Bro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff members were dismissive and unprofessional on the phone. I had to drive there 4 times to get my order and at the end it was not done properly. Very expensive for a product that was made poorly and unfinished. I had to cut the metal by hand to make it fit.
M	M Zia on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Asked they owner if they could make metal planter boxes of a particular size. He made them out of hvac material. Not rigid with a full bottom (no drainage). Husband picked them up (he did not know what I ordered) and it was not what I expected from a metal planter box. It is bendable and not rigid and The moment it is filled with dirt it will bow outwards. The Owner claimed that this was what I asked for when really I didn’t. He took liberties with design and should have asked me questions. He didn’t ask me A single question. He did not even describe what I would be getting. None of this happened and when I asked them to correct the mistake and at least take 50/50 responsibility for the miscommunication he was dismissive, rude, would not return my calls. I was shocked because I did once have amazing service from his staff when I did a corrugated heat shield for my wood stove. I know my planter boxes are not a big job to his shop but the customer service was basically - tough I made what you asked - which was untrue because he should have asked, he assumed, then told me too bad for his error. If I could give zero stars I would. Don’t waste your time with the Owner if you need to use them.

I’m typically not easily impressed by businesses but Joel and his team certainly did impress me for their no-nonsense and expert approach in handling my request for some roof water channels. An estimate was quickly provided as well as some practical suggestions. The custom channels were made available for pick-up by the date promised. We need more businesses like them who make things look simple.

He open palm dry turned so casually it looked like he was skating on ice, skating and waving at me. I watched him pick up a pallet as I walked in to pick up my order and his moustache caught a sparkle of sunlight and it was if I had found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Upon entering the establishment, I was overwhelmed with the musk of testosterone and saw burly men pick up sheets of metal press them and forming them as if it were merriment. And with origami like precision and the grace of a flowing river my chimney cap was formed...I was amazed, what once was flat now had form, function and meaning. As the metal folding master handed me his masterpiece he said "roses are red, violets are blue, I work at Burke's Sheet Metal and this chimney cap is for you".in my haste, I took the cap and started out the door, and when I turned around to say thank you, he was gone, I asked the manager what happened to that guy who folded this cap, the owner looked at me with eyes that pierced into my very soul and said, that cap was folded 2 hours ago... dumbfounded I returned to my truck, on site, the cap glistened in the sun and every time the wind blew it whispered the name Burke's Sheet Metal. Honestly, what a magical experience... whimsy, poetry amd even a fun twist at the end, if you're looking for an exciting sheet metal experience, with special regards to chimney caps, let me tell you look no further.

For any of the people saying their rude, just try adjusting your attitude maybe. Walk in acting arrogant don't expect to be treated any different :) Always had great dealings with all guys working there, and Joel is fantastic to deal with. From copper flashings for heritage buildings, to ice guards, brick flashings, chimney caps (which I request to be made different from the standard), steel roofing panels, and all other accessories or bends you need this is the place to go.
