★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the best place out there. You’re better off with a real lawyer.. My lawyer was really lazy & the supervisor never returns calls. Not to mention the hour and a half wait even when you have an appointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner tried to use their service and had a terrible experience - the receptionist misquoted the amount of time required to get an appointment, thereby forcing her to use non-legal aid services to pursue legal action by a tight deadline. She went back in to aid juridique sud-ouest later to get help on another legal matter, at which point she was informed that they could have completed her initial request in time. They refused to own up to their error. Because she was not able to prove that she was misinformed about her choices, she ended up having to pay a full legal fees at the other clinic.
Me Annie Rainville was cold and rude immediately upon us entering her office for no reason apparent to us. She proved completely unhelpful when it came to figuring out simple questions of what needed to be covered under child support, showing minimal effort and care in following through with the details of my partner's second request.
I can't speak for the other lawyers, but if our experience is any indication, this is a typical legal aid clinic - overworked, underpaid, and encouraged to cram your case into the least amount of time possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is awful. Proving the adage you get what you pay for.
The secretaries cut you off while you are speaking, no matter how polite you are. The lawyers do the bare minimum and are not concerned with doing anythng in a remotely timely manner and do not care about getting you postive results. If you have a legitimate issue with a lawyer there God help you, you will not be able to go through proper channels and make an official complaint. They are all buddies watching each other's backs and will simply blacklist you. This place is obviously a last resort and should be treated as such...
