★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw a fly inside this bin and informed a member of staff who set the fly free and went back to doing what she was doing. When I went to the cash register to pay, she was on the cash so I asked "just out of interest do you not throw that stuff out?" She was indignant I asked. Shocking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have twice placed an order for pick up ay this store. They are very specific about when the order will be ready. Today it said 2.56!!
On both occasions my order has not been ready even though I went a while after the pick up time. Don't waste your time placing a pick up order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What was once in every major shopping mall in the GTA is now like chasing a red herring. It's hard to find Bulk Barn's now for all your baking and craving needs. Probably a good thing since I'll gorge on everything in there. Has hard to find baking needs like Almond flour.
Located within the Golden Mile plaza mall, there is ample parking outside. Hopefully this location stays around a long time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just realized after buying certain ingredients there that it is quite pricier than I expected even when each of them weigh at least less than a pound. I spent at least $20-30 for a few of the items (even though other places are probably way cheaper). The items I had were mostly for this holiday, so I may reconsider buying from there ever again in the future.
Plus, the workers are not very friendly there as well. You have to practically beg for their attention as if you’re the one that’s bothering them like the review below. Today, one of the cashiers didn’t know what the chocolate wafers I had despite me telling her what it is. She made me go all the way back to check the number. The second cashier replaced her without communication and knowing what ingredients were scanned before so I had to correct her to remove the previous product. Also after scanning all my ingredients, she didn’t even offer or lend me a bag whatsoever.
Customer service isn’t good nor the prices there, unfortunately.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked at this place and was treated horribly. It was so toxic, I would leave every shift in tears. The staff doesn't treat people good there. Also, the place is completely infested with maggots, roaches, bugs and mice. The owner knows of the problem and has not done anything to help. Please reconsider before shopping here. You could actually get sick from the food. Bugs love that store. Please be careful.
