Single tent camping for two people and a dog. We booked a spot on their lakeside campground. Nice view as you are sitting right next to the lake. Not much privacy tho as it's basically an open ground. Was informed not to let our dog drink/swim in the lake water due to blue green algae. Friendly and helpful park staff. Restrooms have service hours.

Beautiful park. Would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for all the ticks!! Picked off close to a dozen every time we were outside.

If you don't know this place, you would find it Mediocre We went there for a day long picnic in July 2019. Like any other park, it had a couple of beaches, some trails and camp grounds. The beach we were on, we very dirty and wan't really safe for swimming. It was more apt for fishing. Also, observed lots of dead crabs on the beach and overall very muddy water. If you are really keen for a park that has nice beach, this sure is not the one. You can take your canoe or boat here. I went with my family and kids and I wish I could have researched more about this park. We traveled 250+ KMs to this park and I wouldn't never really go there again. Its just that we didn't find things that interest us there and beyond that, there is nothing. Though, there are reviews which rates the park highly. Looks like the key is to know the park and research it well. PS: there is small children's play area (swings, slides). I am unsure about camping facilities though.

Camped here while on our MC ride to Alaska from Florida. May/June is best since July is all booked up appearantly. The woodpile is large and the lake stunning. Not sure when the Waterpark opens.

Beautiful park with amazing views. It’s also very family-friendly, equipped with plenty of amenities.

Unique prairie hills, steep and abundant, great views, secluded campsites, open campsites, and everything inbetween... there is a campsite to satisfy your preference. Lacking were adequate larger signage alot main drive for firewood, dumpstations, and lack of any signage on main drive for lookout, walking and biking trails. No trail map available for the North end of park. Online park maps had the whole park on them which also made it very hard to read due to size. Firewood, be sure to get upon arrival, for its a long way from campsites. Dumpstation, use the East lane to dump else you will not fully drain your tanks. Loved how the Trails End sites were offset with lots of trees between each site for great privacy. Firepits though, many are placed in far corner of sites, extremely close to the bush/trees, did not allow people to sit all the way around them.

Beautiful park, well maintained. Went for an overnight trip this summer and it was a really nice getaway. It's closer to cities (Moose Jaw & Regina) then some other parks that are similar which is nice. They have plenty of trails and places to fish, including a trout pond just as you enter the park. Any staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay at this park again.

I was blown away by the beauty of Buffalo Pound Provincial Park. The entrance fees are absolutely worth it, and I would recommend trying to stay in the campsite while you are visiting. The washroom facilities at the campsite are kept in pristine condition (something you don't always find at campsites!), and there are showers available. There is a pool to swim in, and the lake is very nice too. I was here right when the leaves were beginning to change and they made the whole valley look incredibly beautiful. At nighttime we heard coyotes in the distance, howling away, and it added to the whole experience. Come to Buffalo Pound Provincial Park if you are looking to escape into nature and be surrounded by the sheer awesomeness of the Saskatchewan and Canadian wild!
